2019

On the eve of the professional holiday, Power Engineer’s Day, the traditional opening of the Honor Board of AlES JSC took place.

Nine of our best employees were recognized, whose work serves as an example for colleagues. We are proud of our employees, their achievements and the contribution they make to the development and prosperity of the company. These people are a worthy example for young people who today work in AlES and continue the glorious labor traditions of their mentors.

Ses Gennady Vasilievich  – senior operator of boiler equipment of the 6th category of the boiler shop of CHPP-1

“Many of those who work in our field got into the energy sector through the guidance of their parents, I was no exception. My father worked for many years at the CHPP-1 station. This was the reason for my choice. After all, parents are an example for every child, and as a teenager I always admired my father’s profession. He began his career right here, at CHPP-1. From February 2016 to the present, I have been working as a senior boiler equipment operator in the boiler shop.”

Gennady Vasilievich, using his vast experience and creative approach to work, proposed a number of rationalization works aimed at increasing the economic performance of equipment, such as: installation of a drainage cooler for a bubbler for periodic purging of boilers No. 10-13; improvement of inventory scaffolding, reconstruction of the device for locking the squeezing screws of the MVS mill. This is a technically competent specialist who has excellent knowledge of the station’s equipment and is able to apply the most advanced working methods.

Gennady Vasilyevich is always ready to help young specialists and share his knowledge.

“Youth today have enormous potential. They are better than us, they are advanced. Many speak several foreign languages; they strive to study abroad and gain knowledge in the best universities in the world. And the most important thing is that they have unlimited possibilities: the Internet, cell phones, computers. And I want them to use all this for the benefit of their personal growth. Our country needs competent specialists in all fields of activity, and especially in the energy sector. After all, we give people warmth and light. And this warms us and our homes.”

Primanova Dinara Kayratovna, leading economist of the economic department of CHPP-2

I was first connected with the energy industry by the production department of the Center for Technical Technologies, where I was accepted into the economic department. I was warmly greeted by a close-knit and friendly team that became like family to me. Each of them shared their experience, adding to my knowledge in this area, which contributed to the correct construction of the work.

In 2017 it was transferred to CHPP-2. Working at the largest enterprise of AlES JSC helps to acquire new knowledge not only in the economic direction, but also in technical and production.

I am very proud to work at the largest station, which is the core, the heart of the entire energy supply of the city of Almaty and the Almaty region. It is pleasant to realize the significance, importance, and responsibility to society of the contribution of our enterprise – the production of thermal and electrical energy.

Samoshchenkov Andrey Ivanovich, shift supervisor at power plant CHPP-3

There is a wonderful aphorism: “A person who does what he loves is a truly happy person.” I am a happy person, I have a job I love and a professional team. He began his career at the power plant in 2000 as an electrician in the electrical shop. During his time working in the electrical workshop, he went through all levels of training and worked as a shift supervisor and deputy chief of the electrical workshop. For the last ten years I have been working as a shift supervisor at a power plant. You constantly have to improve your knowledge and skills. Our work values professionalism and the ability to quickly make informed decisions in the most difficult situations. I am grateful to my mentors: Romanenko V.M., Zhdanov S.F., Amanturdiev M.A. who have invested strength and knowledge in me over the years. They were the ones who helped me gain confidence and professional skills.

Dear colleagues, I congratulate you on the upcoming New Year 2019! With all my heart I wish to all energy workers that every day of your life will be warmed with sincere gratitude for the noble work that you perform!

I wish all power engineers trouble-free work, peace in their families, health to their relatives and friends!

Vasilyeva Svetlana Vladimirovna, leading engineer of the Cascade HPP

After graduating from the Almaty College of Communications in 1997, I got a job at the Cascade Hydroelectric Power Plant as an electrician of station equipment in the “Dispatching Technological Control Tools” workshop under the leadership of N.G. Raguzina, servicing the automatic telephone exchange.

In 2006, Managing Director B.U. Mukaev offered me a transfer to the production and technical department to the position of calculations and modes engineer. It was very difficult and even scary to make such a decision, but Bolat Ualikhanovich insisted and reassured, saying: “You can handle it, we’ll help…”.

I was warmly and caringly received into the VET by O.V. Semenova and N.A. Sattarova, who were still working at that time. and of course, Deputy Chief Engineer R.Ya. Sayfutdinov, he will still support and, if necessary, give advice. In 2011, she graduated from AUPET in absentia with a degree in electrical power engineering. Since 2014 I have been working as a leading technical engineer. Now I can confidently say that the decision to transfer made then was correct.

Vladimir Viktorovich Sizov, Head of the Repair Service of the Operations and Repairs Directorate

Energy permeates my entire life. Even as a child, I often visited my mother at work, heard the strange words boilers, deaerators, laboratory, analyses, regeneration, etc. Mom worked at the Vokzalnaya boiler house as a laboratory assistant at the HVO, dad worked as the head of the heating networks section. Since the boiler room was not far from our house, and my mother worked shifts, my father and I often came to her work and helped regenerate the filters (he had to carry heavy salt there).

At the end of the 70s, dad was offered to head the startup boiler room for CHPP-2, the boiler room was built on a railway track. I still remember how we accompanied my dad on a business trip to receive and transport a boiler plant from Russia to the construction area of CHPP-2. After the launch of the station, dad headed the repair and construction workshop of CHPP-2. We got a new apartment in the TPP-ovsky building in the Tastak microdistrict, my mother transferred to work in the chemical workshop of TPP-1, where she worked until retirement.

Considering that the profession of power engineer was highly respected in our family, power engineer’s day was celebrated almost like a new year. At the end of the 8th grade of school, the question of choosing a profession did not arise before me; I entered the Almaty Energy Construction College, majoring in Steam Generators and Turbine Installations. After graduating from college, he got a job in the turbine shop of CHPP-2. My first mentors were Tyutebaev Serik Suinbekovich, Sabyrkulov Bisembek Abenovich. I worked at CHPP-2 for almost 13 years and went from a lineman of auxiliary equipment in the turbine shop to a leading process engineer in the Repair Service. Since 2005, I have been working at the head office, first at JSC APK, then at JSC AlES. At the head office I was always surrounded by a wonderful team, I am very grateful to Mukhamed-Rakhimov Nurlan Taufikovich, Shmelev Vladimir Georgievich, I learned a lot from them and continue to learn.

The importance of the work of power engineers can hardly be overestimated; with their tireless work they create one of the most necessary benefits – heat and electrical energy, which ensures normal operation at all enterprises without exception, and comfort in our homes. Therefore, I would like to congratulate the team of AlES JSC on their professional holiday, which is celebrated on December 22 – one of the shortest daylight hours of the year. We wish everyone stable and trouble-free work.
