On the eve of Power Engineer’s Day, the Book of Honor of AlES JSC was opened. It is analogous to the Honor Board.
AlES JSC employs an experienced, time-tested team of professionals. At the end of 2022, honored employees of the company who made a special personal contribution to the development of the company were included in the Book of Honor.
The best employees of the many thousand employees of AlES JSC were recognized as:
Abildinova Gulzhan Erkenovna, shift supervisor of the chemical workshop of CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbaeva
She came to the energy industry in the footsteps of her relatives at the stations, her father, the chief engineer at the Kapshagai hydroelectric power station, and her brother, the head of the chemical workshop of CHPP-1. She began her career at CHPP-1 as a 2nd category laboratory assistant in an express laboratory in 2000. Then she worked as an operator for the preparation of chemical reagents of the 3rd category. In 2003, she was transferred to a 3rd category HVO operator, and two years later she was transferred to a 4th category HVO operator. After graduating from AUES in absentia with a degree in thermal power plants, I was appointed shift supervisor of the chemical workshop.
I am very grateful to my team for their support. Special thanks to my teachers and mentors: heads of the chemical shop Timofey Dmitrievich Yun and Gulnara Kauanovna Kopobaeva, shift supervisor of the chemical shop Svetlana Valentinovna Gulak. These wonderful people helped me gain professional knowledge and self-confidence. We have a good team, you can always count on support and understanding from both managers and colleagues. It’s nice to feel that my work makes a contribution to the energy sector. I wish the younger generation to continuously learn, develop and overcome any difficulties. Congratulations to all energy workers on the upcoming professional holiday – Energy Engineers Day and New Year 2023!!! I wish everyone trouble-free work, peace, love, prosperity, stability and health to family and friends!!!
Tavbaeva Nargiza Sarsenovna, technical supervision inspector of the Labor Safety and Health Service of CHPP-2 named after A. Zhakutov

She began her career at CHPP-2 in 2008 as a chemical water treatment operator of the 4th qualification group. In 2010, she was transferred to the commissioning and environmental protection workshop as a process engineer. For ten years I have been working as an inspector for technical supervision of occupational safety and health in the Labor Safety and Health Service. I supervise the technical condition and safe operation of dangerous technical devices (lifting mechanisms and vessels, pipelines operating under pressure), and take measures to prevent violation of the rules of their operation.
I am grateful to my mentors Raushan Chautenovna Kirbasova and Olga Fedorovna Kudiyarova, who helped me gain confidence and professional skills! I try to direct my knowledge and efforts to improve the reliability of power plant equipment. I am constantly learning, improving my skills and abilities. I carry out all production tasks efficiently and effectively.
I take an active part in events organized by our company: KVNs, challenges, festive events. In the summer, during my work leave, I work as the director of the Edelweiss children’s health camp. I am grateful to the children of our employees for giving me smiles and amazing relaxation.
I sincerely congratulate all Power Engineers on their professional holiday! We, Energy Engineers, give warmth and light to people, thank you to all the workers for their work, day and night, in heat and cold. I wish everyone goodness, warmth, let life be bright, work accident-free, and our work safe.
Saenko Vladimir Aleksandrovich, shift supervisor of the power plant, operation group of CHPP-3
I was lucky to be born into a family of energy workers: my grandfather participated in the construction of the Kapshagai hydroelectric power station, my parents work at CHPP-3. The choice of my profession was perhaps obvious, but how could it be otherwise when you are surrounded by the example of noble and dedicated people.
After graduating from university, he began his career at CHPP-3. He studied at the Almaty University of Energy and Communications and completed his master’s degree at the Moscow Industrial Institute. The main thing in our profession is to constantly learn and improve our knowledge, because energy does not stand still, and we must develop with it. He worked his way up from an electrician servicing and repairing electrical equipment to a shift supervisor at a power plant. I am very pleased that every year I work, my professional skills grow. Every day I learn something new. I try to study changes and innovations in rules and laws in a timely manner.
I am infinitely grateful to my mentors who contributed to my development as a specialist and leader, namely: Barmin S.N., Tayanov A.S., Pustovalov V.M., Staforov V.A., Gorev G.L., Chigrinov Yu.N., Romanenko V.M. and etc.
I can say with confidence that the well-being of every employee depends on my work. Dear colleagues, on the eve of your professional holiday, I wish you and your families good health, happiness and peaceful skies above your heads!

Yelizarov Alexander Yevgenyevich, shift manager of Cascade HPP
In 1981 he graduated from the Alma-Ata Energy Construction College, in 1989 he graduated from the Alma-Ata Railway Institute with a degree in energy supply. Since childhood, I lived opposite the Power Engineering College and every day I saw the slogan on its roof: “Communism is Soviet power plus electrification of the entire country.” From a young age I decided that I would move in this direction. Soviet power is long gone, but electrification and energy remain priorities in the national economy.
Since 1992, he worked for five years at Almaty CHPP-2. He worked his way up from an electrician, a relay protection and automation electrician, an electrician on duty to a shift supervisor in an electrical shop.
I have been working at the Cascade hydroelectric power station since 2003. Initially an engineer for organizing the operation of equipment, for the last 18 years I have been a shift supervisor at the Cascade of Hydroelectric Power Plants.
Congratulations to all colleagues on the upcoming Power Engineer’s Day and the New Year! I wish everyone trouble-free work, health, material well-being and happiness in their personal lives!

Tokarev Vyacheslav Vitalievich, senior foreman of locomotive facilities of the railway section of the Center for receiving and unloading fuel
I am proud that my destiny is connected with Energy. Our job is not easy. But despite the difficulties, I like my chosen specialty, because you can become a real professional only if you love your job. While working in the Central Electrical Transport Department, he rose from the position of locomotive driver to the head of the CHPP-1 section.
I’ve been in the energy industry for 30 years. Our main production activity is the maintenance and repair of diesel locomotives and railway tracks. This requires competent and friendly staff, which we have at our site. I feel in demand, socially protected, and confident in the future thanks to the experience gained while working in the energy sector.
I’m not afraid of work, the main thing is that there is work, I know one thing for sure: “Patience and work will grind everything down” and therefore I wish everyone to work hard, because only then will all goals be achieved and dreams come true.
