Gorbovskaya Galina Vladimirovna, head of the HR department of CHPP-3
Any profession requires love, perseverance, perseverance and knowledge from a person. And only the transfer of this knowledge, from one generation to another, creates a dynasty. Dynasties appear in families where people are passionate about their profession. From an early age, I saw my mother bring home some papers, an abacus with knuckles, and then later a calculator. Yes, she worked as an accountant at CHPP-3. After graduating from school in 1992, at the insistence of my mother, I went to study to become an accountant. In the 90s, the accounting profession was the most in demand. I came to work at CHPP-3 in 1993 as an accountant. Without interrupting work, I studied in absentia at a technical school and worked. During this period, professionals in their field worked in the accounting department of CHPP-3: Kandaurova N.V., Gorokhotova R.N., Pichugina L.V., Kudiyarova L.V., Serkina E.V., thanks to them I probably mastered the very basics accountant work. In 1998, she was transferred to the Head Office, where she gained extensive experience in accounting. Mastered almost all areas of accounting. The accounting department of the Head Office was a professional, friendly, close-knit team. Young specialists were helped by more experienced mentors. I would like to express my gratitude for the knowledge that Luzan A.P., Geld O.D., Ovchinnikova I.G. passed on to me. Thank them very much. After a short break in work, in 2007 she moved to CHPP-3 as an economist in the economic department. Since 2009 I have been working as the head of the HR department. Of course, this could not have happened without the help of experienced mentors (R.S. Turegeldinova, D.T. Shaizhanova, O.M. Ryseva, G.K. Sagadieva). I would like to express my gratitude to all of them for supporting me at the initial stage and believing in my strength and knowledge.
I guess now I can say that I am in the right place. Every day, working with people, you understand that his corporate spirit and mood depend on the ability to listen to a person!!! Dear colleagues, I congratulate you on Energy Engineer’s Day and New Year 2021! With all my heart I wish to all energy workers that every day of your life will be warmed with sincere gratitude for the noble work that you perform!
I wish all power engineers trouble-free work, peace in their families, health to their relatives and friends!
Dzhambaev Kerm Kanatovich, Deputy Head of the Thermal Automation and Measurement Shop at CHPP-1
Born on March 31, 1968 in Almaty. In 1993 he graduated from the Alma-Ata Energy Institute. He began his career at AlES JSC in 2011 as an electrician for the repair and maintenance of automation and measuring instruments of power plants of the 5th category at the thermal automation repair site TsREO-1 of the Energoremont PRP.
In 2003, he transferred to CHPP-1 as a foreman of the production section of the thermal automation and measurement shop. In 2017, thanks to his hard work, communication skills and responsibility, he was appointed deputy head of the thermal automation and measurements workshop.
During all the time I worked in the energy system, there was not a single moment when I regretted my choice of profession,” says Kerm Kanatovich.
I spend all my free time usefully with my family. I lead a healthy, active lifestyle and regularly go to the gym. I am raising two wonderful sons. The eldest of whom followed in my father’s footsteps into the energy sector and works in the production department of CHPP-1 as an electrician for the repair and maintenance of automation and measuring instruments of power plants of the 4th category of CTAI. I am very glad and proud that there is, they say, someone to pass on the craft to.
Kim Elena Garikovna, head of the chemical laboratory of the commissioning and environmental activities workshop of CHPP-2
There are always special people working in the energy sector: very responsible and truly concerned about the results of their work, ready to invest all their strength and skills to fulfill their job responsibilities.
Of all the sciences, chemistry has always been easy for me, and I am glad that I found a job where chemical water purification and chemical analyzes are so important. I have been in the energy industry for 19 years. Since 2018 I have been working at CHPP-2. But it was at AlES JSC that I noticed extraordinary working conditions. It is when organizing this level of work that an amazing unity occurs between all the employees of our departments, and in particular the team at CHPP-2. The work with personnel is carried out to an unusually high quality: training, continuous training, advanced training courses that contribute to the full disclosure of the full potential of a person and an employee. Working at CHPP-2, I was convinced that there is complete trust in the employee, the opportunity is given to show their best qualities, introduce new methods of chemical analysis, and acquire more advanced instruments. I see my primary task as maintaining a high level of the laboratory, and most importantly, educating and training the younger generation of the laboratory. I want to pass on my knowledge to them, teach them to think like an energy chemist, love their science and their enterprise, and make every effort to fulfill their honorable duties – providing the city with heat and electricity.
Rushanov Mendygali Sagantaevich, head of the Electrical Machine Shop at Kapshagai HPP
He entered the energy industry following in the footsteps of his brothers. He began his career in 2001 as a mechanic repairing steam and gas turbine equipment at URTO TsREO-2 PRP Energoremont. In 2012, he graduated from the Almaty University of Energy and Communications at the expense of his employer. In 2007, he was transferred to the production department of CHPP-1 as a foreman of the production section of the turbine shop. Since July 2009, I have been working as deputy head of the turbine shop (repair).
I believe that the main qualities of a power engineer are responsibility, compliance with safety measures, constant improvement of professionalism and love for one’s work. I always try to treat subordinate staff fairly and in any situation to listen and give the right course to solve the problem. I wish the younger generation to continuously learn, develop and always be open to new things.
Congratulations to all colleagues on their professional holiday – Energy Engineer’s Day and the upcoming New Year 2022! I wish everyone good health, long years, and prosperity to our company!
Komendantsky Evgeniy Vasilievich, shift supervisor of the ZTK Operations Group
Since childhood, I have had an interest in equipment and knowledge, and it was in the electrical power industry that these two lines came together for me. I was lucky, and I started my career in 2006 at the Kapshagai hydroelectric power station as a 3rd category electrician in the Electrical Machine Shop. I immediately felt that this was my calling. From the first days of work, I became very interested in studying power plant equipment and improved my knowledge and skills in this industry, thereby gaining vast experience. After completing all levels of training, I was transferred to the position of shift supervisor at the Electrical Machine Shop, and then to the position of shift supervisor at the Kapshagai hydroelectric station.
Since January 2019, I have been holding the position of head of the Electrical Machine Shop. Thanks to friendly and responsive colleagues, and the support of management, we are trying to bring the equipment of the Kapshagai hydroelectric power station to a high level of reliability and trouble-free operation.
I sincerely congratulate all energy workers of Kazakhstan on their professional holiday! I sincerely wish everyone successful work, inexhaustible energy, new promising projects and further development! May the new year 2021 bring you a lot of joy and happiness. Success, health and prosperity to you and your loved ones!
Kulishov Alexander Vsevolodovich, laboratory engineer at the electrical machine shop of Cascade HPP
I was born and raised in Almaty. He graduated from the Almaty College of Energy and Electronic Instrument Making with a degree in Thermal Power Engineering. After industrial practice, he continued his activities at the ZTK of AlES JSC as a driver of a fuel oil pumping unit from November 2007.

Since 2016, he worked as a shift supervisor in the boiler shop, in November 2020 he was transferred as a shift supervisor in the Operations Group.
Thanks to Igor Vladimirovich Kogtev, the shift manager of the boiler shop, under whose mentorship I worked for 3 years, I solve the assigned tasks, and Igor Vladimirovich’s help and attentiveness support me until this day.
This year I entered the bachelor’s program at AUES. There are many plans and goals ahead that open up new prospects and inspire hope for new achievements.
Our production team has a very friendly and united team, everyone is positive, there have never been any problems. We work as a single, well-oiled machine. And now 13 years have flown by like one day. The most important thing is to take the work seriously, study the diagrams, and monitor the equipment. In our work, all issues can be solved if you are not lazy and do the work with great desire and diligence!
Oyshybaev Kuat, head of the railway section of the Center for Receiving and Unloading Fuel
I always aspired and loved to study chemistry, mechanics and electronics. In 1978 he graduated from the Alma-Ata Technological College with a degree in electrical engineering. In 1992, he was accepted as a foreman at the electrical engineering laboratory of the Cascade HPP, in the same year he completed training at a training center, specializing in “Specialist in chemical analysis and oil regeneration”, and in 1996 he was transferred to an oil technician in the electrical machine shop. At Cascade HPP he worked his way up from a foreman in an electrical engineering laboratory to a laboratory engineer in an electrical machine shop, which amounted to more than 28 years of experience in the energy sector.
During my work, I thoroughly studied the design of equipment for regeneration and purification of oils of hydromechanical and electrical equipment of the HPP Cascade, which allowed me to quickly and accurately take action during the operation and repair of equipment.
He was rewarded more than once with Certificates of Honor and gratitude. I am also part of a working dynasty; we work and labor at the Cascade of Hydroelectric Power Plants.
On my own behalf, I congratulate all my colleagues in the power industry on their professional holiday – Power Engineer Day! I wish you success in your work and trouble-free work in our industry!
