Power in the hands and spirit

Our colleague Mukhamed Kuan, a boiler operator at the Zapadny Thermal Complex, represented Samruk-Energo JSC with great dignity in the arm wrestling competition at the 10th Samruk-Kazyna JSC Spartakiad this year.

His career in the energy sector began six years ago, and in 2021 he joined the AlES team. In his work, he values discipline, accuracy and responsibility – qualities that help him to be strong not only in production but also in sport. Mukhamed became interested in arm wrestling while still a student, in 2015. Since then, this sport has become not just a hobby for him, but a real passion. For four years in a row, he has competed in the Samruk-Kazyna JSC Spartakiad as part of the Samruk-Energo JSC team. Over the years, he has become a champion three times, demonstrating not only physical strength but also an irresistible will to win

The secret to his athletic shape is constant work on himself. “I go to the gym four times a week and try to spend my time actively: I love the mountains and swimming in the pool. Thanks to the OneFit app, my workouts are always varied. I do strength training twice a week and work on technique and speed the rest of the time. This approach helps me develop harmoniously and achieve steady progress”, says Mukhamed.

The competition was particularly fierce this season, but he completed all the rounds with confidence and took an honorable 4th place, proving once again that for a true athlete, it is not only the result that matters, but also perseverance in the fight.

His colleagues are proud of his achievements, as he is an outstanding example of how to combine professionalism at work with an excellent sporting record.
