Personnel Training Department
The purpose of our HR policy is to enhance and retain the Company’s human resources potential and to create favorable working conditions for the integral development of our personnel. Our Company values the aspiration to achieve results, readiness to work in a team and take responsibility in its employees, highlighting the importance of rewarding labor according to the degree of efficiency.
There were established all necessary factors for professional and personal development and growth, continuous improvement of the level of corporate and managerial competences of its employees.
The system of the Company’s personnel development provides for professional development programs in accordance with production needs and strategic goals on the basis of the personnel training department, training ground of PRP Energoremont and external educational institutions.
Overall, in 2024, 2,963 employees of AlES JSC underwent training, of which 1,398 employees completed vocational training in the HR management training department, 1,481 employees completed advanced training in external organizations, and 84 employees completed foreign language training. Some employees were trained in several programs, including “Industrial Safety Training”, “Fire and Technical Minimum”, “Anti-terrorist security”, “Slinger and operator of a crane operated from the floor”, etc. Of the employees trained in 2024, 312 are women and 2,651 are men.
A specialized Welder’s training centre has been set up at Energoremont. Qualified specialists are engaged in initial training of gas cutters and electric manual arc welders, and also conduct annual recertification at the polygon. Retesting of 185 gas cutters, and 107 certified welders, as well as primary training in specialties – 10 electric welders, 10 gas cutters were carried out in 2024. An annual competition among electric welders and gas cutters is organized to determine the best among them.
AlES JSC has signed social partnership agreements with NAO “Almaty University of Power Engineering and Communications named after G.Daukeev”, with SCCP “Almaty State College of Power Engineering and Electronic Technologies”, with NAO “Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. I. Satpayev”, with NAO “Kazakh National Research Technical University named after Al-Farabi”, with NAO “Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilev’, as well as an agreement with “Universita degli Studi di Genova” (AUES-Genova), within the framework of which the following projects have been implemented:
– On October 14, 2024, there was a solemn opening of the branch of the Department of Energy in cooperation with “Kaz NITU named after K.I. Satpayev” on the basis of the Personnel Training Department of AlES JSC. It was attended by managers and specialists of the company, teachers of “Kaz NITU” named after K.I. Satpayev”. The branch of the Department will function according to the principles of dual training, which combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills obtained directly at work. Students who study under this model will be able to master the subtleties of energy processes more deeply and adapt more quickly to the requirements of the profession.
– for the sixth year AlES JSC and NAO ‘AUES named after G. Daukeyev’ provide internship with elements of dual training from 3 June 2024 to 28 June 2024 for students trained on the basis of CHPP-1 named after B.Orazbayev and AlES Personnel Training Department in two working specialties: boiler equipment bypass operator (11 students), turbine equipment bypass operator (11 students). Since 2018, 166 students have undergone practical training with elements of dual training;
– 127 students of NAO “Almaty University of Power Engineering and Communications named after G. Daukeev”, KGKP “Almaty State College of Power Engineering and Electronic Technologies”, ‘Kazakhstan-British Technical University” JSC, NAO “Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi”, NAO “Kazakh National Research Technical University named after K. I. Satpayev”, NAO “Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilev”, University of “Turan”.
– 7 excursions were arranged for schoolchildren, students and teachers of Almaty State College of Energy and Electronic Technologies, Suleiman Demirel University, Kazakh-German University, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics, employees of Vostok Capital and Almaty Energo Sbyt (206 students and teachers).
The Company pays great attention to training of personnel pool and qualified specialists. Training is conducted at the expense of the employer to provide employees with higher and secondary technical education in their profile at Almaty University of Power Engineering and Communications, Almaty State College of Power Engineering and Electronic Technologies. In total, 236 employees have been trained since 2007, 9 employees were trained in 2024.
The Personnel Training Department will continue to actively develop strategic co-operation with higher and secondary educational institutions in 2025. One of the most important steps will be the opening of a joint department with “Universita degli Studidi Genova” (Italy) on the basis of NAO “Almaty University of Energy and Communications named after G. Daukeyev”. This project will provide students with unique opportunities for in-depth study of technologies and innovative solutions in the energy industry. Training and personnel development will continue to be the main priorities of the Personnel Training Department.
