ZTC carried out a large-scale clean-up of the heating main
A 14-person team of ZTC employees carried out a scheduled cleaning of the CHPP-2-ZTC heating main located at the crossroads of Ryskulova and Farida Ongarsynova Streets in early April 2025. Staff from the boiler shop, electric shop, CTI and chemical department took part in the event, as well as 2 drivers who provided for the transportation of the clean-up crew and disposal of the rubbish. The works involved a passenger Gazelle and a cargo-passenger UAZ truck.
Approximately 3 tons of rubbish was removed by the results of the campaign. The territory of the trunk main was tidied up completely.
ZTC employees believe that the main problem lies in the ignorance of city residents.

The residents of the neighboring houses are still using the area of the heating main as a waste dumpsite, despite regular clean-up days (held several times a year).

– It is very frustrating for us to see that the residents living near the heating main have turned the space under and near the pipe into rubbish bins. There are specially designated places for the rubbish disposal. The culture of cleanliness is the responsibility of each person, – emphasized Bolat Sarsembay, senior foreman of the Boiler Shop of the heating main.

The participants of the campaign appealed to the citizens to treat the environment more carefully:
– Civility culture starts with each of us. When each citizen treats the territory of the city as his or her own home, we will have a clean environment everywhere, – said Oksana Troetskaya, laboratory technician of chemical analysis of the Chemical Service.
– “As I picked up all that rubbish, I couldn’t help wondering: why do residents keep littering their own houses behind the fence? They are breathing this air, walking along this road, and they see it all. And their children perceive this picture as a normal way of life. ‘Taza Kazakhstan’ affects each citizen”, – added Aibek Tolepbergen, electrician for repair and ASI of power plants of thermal instrumentation and control shop.
ZTС maintains working systematically to keep the heating mains clean, but the effectiveness of such efforts directly depends on the consciousness of residents. The company encourages citizens to report unauthorized dumps by calling the Akimat hotline and reminds: the cleanliness of the city is in everyone’s hands!
