The next meeting of young employees of AlES JSC with Yerik Mashirov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Company, was dedicated to the active participation of young people in specific projects of the Company, effective application of their knowledge, strength, competences. Involvement of young people in the projects of the company, understanding of the essence, goals of the ongoing changes, immersion in them, opens to young employees great opportunities and prospects of professional and career growth, ensures the continuity of generations. Yerik Mashirov, the Head of the Management Board of AlES JSC, issure of this, giving meetings with young personnel the highest priority.

– This is already our third meeting with you, now it is time to move on to concrete matters, – Yerik Mashirov suggested, starting the discussion of current affairs. – It is very important to me that you take part in modernisation and reconstruction of CHPP-2 n.a. A.Zhakutov, CHPP-3 n.a. B.Orazbayev CHPP-1, HPP of Cascade and Kapshagayskaya HPP n.a. Sh.Chokin. I would like to see you not only in the project part in the office, but also on construction sites. Such large projects, which we have launched, have not been realised in AlES yet. Therefore, your participation in them will be a contribution not only to the development of our company, but also to your career growth. As we prioritise the improvement of your qualification level.

He recalled the fundamental tasks facing the Company and noted the problem of lack of qualified personnel. The Chairman of the Management Board believes that the future of the company depends on its youth organisation, so now every significant project should have its representative. This will allow young specialists to keep abreast of modernization projects.

– You will be able to participate in this process from the very beginning of modernization, you will be able to see everything and learn everything, and then work on new equipment, – emphasised the Head Yerik Mashirov. – You have great resources, good potential. Your eyes are burning, you are full of knowledge – and now it is time to put your resources into practice. Go from words to deeds. I am sure that in a few years each of you will occupy a worthy position in our company.

The young people were inspired by the meeting and, most importantly, by the prospects of the company’s development and their own opportunities.

– The meeting with the Chairman of the Management Board was very informative, says Kanstantsiya Kaderbayeva, an engineer of the Production and Technical Department of CHPP-2 n.a. A.Zhakutov. – We discussed topical issues related to work at production facilities, development and personal growth. Now the reconstruction of CHPP-2 and CHPP-3 is a topical topic. Our youth organisation will take an active part in these projects. It will be a good practice for young specialists to apply their knowledge and skills. And at the same time it will give a unique and colossal experience. We also discussed the implementation of the Kaizen system in our departments. The pilot project at CHPP-3 has already demonstrated the effectiveness of the concept, which allows us to improve our work, become more efficient, and teach lean production.

For many participants of the meeting it was important to understand what the long-term strategy of the company and its goals for the future will be. Nurlan Zhakan from CHPP-3 spoke about this, noting that the meeting with the Chairman of the Management Board helped him to better understand the prospects. And this is understandable, because when young people come to the enterprises, they plan their future, assessing the objective prerequisites for linking their lives and professional careers with it.

– It was an informative and inspiring event, says Zhanerke Panarkhanqyzy, Production Preparation Engineer at the Production and Technical Department of Energoremont PRC. – We discussed very important topics related to the energy industry, our companies, which are part of AlES JSC, and their prospects. It was particularly interesting to hear about new projects and innovations that are planned to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the energy sector. One of the key topics of the meeting was the role of young people in the growth of the company. The Chairman emphasised that young professionals have a significant contribution to make through their fresh ideas, enthusiasm and willingness to change. He also emphasised the importance of investing in the training and development of young people so that they can become the leaders of the future.

This meeting has inspired us to keep working. I feel that we are well placed to make a real contribution to the development of our company and the industry as a whole.

– The issues that were raised at the meeting touched not only on the current problems, but also on what the company can expect in the future, – Abylaykhan Aktan, foreman of the Electrical Shop of CHPP-1 named after B.Orazbayev, learnt the most from the dialogue with the head of the company. – It is very important that we talked about ways of solving problems, as well as about the role of our youth organisation in solving these issues. The meeting gave me food for thought about what I can do for the development of the company.

– We discussed future projects and the promotion of the youth organisation in AlES JSC, he said. – It is important that the questions concerning Kaizen system, improvement of qualification of the company’s specialists were voiced. It is good that we also touched upon practical current issues. For example, about overalls, as well as about attracting young people to gain experience in the process of modernization and reconstruction of CHPP 2 and CHPP 3. I am glad that the management meets our needs and is always ready to listen to us.

According to the general opinion of the participants, the meeting was very effective, as two decisions were made after the dialogue with the Head of the Management Board Yerik Mashirov. Firstly, to hold a meeting with specialists on further development of the Kaizen Concept at CHPP-3. And also – to present AlES modernization projects to young employees at CHPP-2 n.a. A.Zhakutov.
