Quality and terms – under control of Samruk-Energy JSC

Kairat Maksutov, Chairman of the Management Board of Samruk-Energy JSC, visited the production departments of AlES JSC on 22 July 2024.

During the visit, the head of the electric power holding familiarised himself with the progress of works at two key facilities of the Almaty company: CHPP-3 and CHPP-2 n.a. A.Zhakutov. At CHPP-3 special attention was paid to the implementation of the reconstruction project of this station. A meeting was also held here with the participation of representatives of EPC-contractor and AlES JSC, where reports on the progress of the project “Reconstruction of Almaty CHPP-3” were heard. In the course of discussion the necessity of modern completion of development of design and construction works and going to the construction site was noted.

At CHPP-2 n.a. A.Zhakutov Kairat Maksutov inspected the construction site, inspected the completed works, and also heard reports of representatives of EPC-contractor, design institute, customer’s engineer and AlES JSC, as well as – reports on fulfilment of assignments. Also the results of fulfilment of the previously given assignments were analysed and the volumes of the executed works were estimated. Particular attention was paid to the observance of terms and quality of works performed.

Following the site visits, it was noted that successful implementation of these projects requires coordinated action by all participants and strict adherence to deadlines.
