Purity inspired by care
On 12 September 2025, AlES JSC employees once again demonstrated that environmental responsibility is not just a slogan, but a daily commitment and a personal choice for everyone. On this day, as part of the Taza Kazakhstan program, an environmental campaign was held to clean up the area along the heating main from Raiymbek Avenue up to Monke Bi Street.
Residents of nearby areas had repeatedly asked for this area to be cleaned up. The site was in a deplorable state: household waste, old furniture, car repair shop waste and even traces of indifference to nature. But where indifference had left its mark, our employees set an example of genuine care.
Fifty-three people from the CHPP-1 named after B.Orazbayev, CHPP-2 named after A.Zhakutov, the Zapadny Thermal Complex, the Cascade HPP, PRP Eneroremont, the Central Power Plant and the head office took part in the campaign. In a few hours, they managed to clean up about 4 kilometers of the area and collect 69 m³ of rubbish.
But the main thing is not the numbers, but the people and their commitment. “We are doing this for our children, so that they can grow up in a clean and beautiful city,” said Ainel Kurmanbayeva, chief specialist of the Environmental Protection Department.
“When you clean up together with your colleagues, you realize that strength lies in unity. At moments like this, it becomes particularly clear that cleanliness is not a duty, but part of our culture and respect for one another’ noted Natalya Mitusova, an ecologist representing the Cascade Hydroelectric Power Plant.
Everyone put a part of their soul into the process: some pulled bags of rubbish, some swept, some collected twigs, and some supported their colleagues with kind words. It is in such simple but important tasks that the true strength of a team is born.
