One step from the first century
The first step to the profession the founder of the dynasty Vladimir Nikolayevich Kandaurov made in 1959, when the recruitment of workers for the construction of the station Almaty TPP – now it is CHPP-3. He just wanted to work. They took him, and Vladimir four years worked as a handyman in a contract organization SU GRES – before the introduction of the station.
Vladimir
Well, having built, decided not to change the “object”: and transferred to the state of the station itself – the young man was a craftsman, worked perfectly. He worked in the shop of heat automation electric attendant for repair and maintenance of automatics. However, not for long – only three months and at the conscription went to the army. After serving, Vladimir entered university, then served in the internal affairs agencies for more than 20 years.
But as they say, you can’t escape your destiny…
Nadezhda
In 1973, Vladimir met Nadezhda Moskutova – accountant of Almaty TPP. Soon the young people created their family, thereby laying the tradition of the Kandaurov dynasty of power engineers in their family.
As the practice and history of Vladimir and Nadezhda confirms, power engineers have strong families and good traditions. Nadezhda Vasilyevna, a veteran of the Kazakhstan Electricity Association, worked at the station until 2010, when she retired. Her colleagues and students remember her with a kind word.
Galina
It was not surprising that the daughter of Kandaurov Galina did not even doubt the direction of the professional path.
– The choice of profession was probably predetermined. When I graduated from school, immediately, without hesitation, I went to work for the HPP, – said Galina Gorbovskaya (husband’s surname). – While working, I was also trained as an accountant.
Galina added that the traditions of power engineers differ from workshop to workshop. Accountants, for example, plant trees or flowers before retirement so that successors take care of the seedlings and remember their predecessors.
Now Galina holds the position of head of personnel and is proud of the experience of his family in the energy sector, which in total is approaching the first century.
– The special challenge of the energy profession is that it is always in the center of events and attention, – Galina believes. – Because electricity is everywhere, in all spheres of life. Even when you come home, in which case neighbors say: “Something cold today; for some reason, the light was turned off; the water is cold”. Everyone is asking such questions. And it turns out that you are responsible for the warm batteries of the neighbors, for the light in the house. But the neighbors haven’t complained lately – so everything’s fine!
Gennadi
Her brother Gennadi joined the CHPP-3 station after serving in the army. He started at the turbine shop and went from the locksmith to the shift manager. He is a good worker.
The children of Gennadi and Galina also did not escape the influence of the family profession: they grew up in the village and took part in the station’s activities. So the interest of the third generation Kandaurov – Gorbovsky to the profession of power engineers in their friendly family appeared early.
Third generation
Today Danil, son of Galina continues the family tradition. He is an engineer for repair and daughter of Gennadi – Anastasia is an economist at CHPP-3.
– Over the years, Galina and her family have become not just employees, but part of the history of CHPP-3. Family values associated with communication in the group and participation in events are an integral part of their life, – says Gulnara Zhamanbalanova, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the station. – In many ways, the dynasty is facilitated by the fact that families of employees of energy companies live in settlements. They were built by companies especially for their employees. The companies take into account local kindergartens, schools, responsibility for communal and other amenities. It is not surprising that in such settlements, family pairs of power engineers were created. And they passed on their knowledge, experience, and most importantly – love for the profession – to their children!
Look forward to the future
Dynasties are a good tradition, and believe in the family Kandaurov – Gorbovsky. Solidarity, experience and love for their profession make them an important part of the energy heritage of Kazakhstan and can be added – the future of power engineers – are emphasized in JSC AlEC.
– There is a shortage of technical specialists, especially in the field of energy. Therefore, at our family level we want to transfer experience and knowledge to young professionals, – says Galina Gorbovskaya. – We hope that in our time the power industry will rise to a new level. The Kazakhstan will definitely support the industry.
