Information on realized projects in 2023 at the facilities of AlES JSC
CHPP-1
In 2023, the following measures were implemented at CHPP-1 according to the Investment Budget:
Implementation of automated emission monitoring system (AEMS) at the sources of Almaty CHPP-1 named after B.Orazbayev in accordance with the requirements of paragraphs 5, paragraph 1, article 130 of the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 7 September 2018 No. 356. To realize this goal, construction and installation works on implementation of automated emission monitoring system (AEMS) on chimneys of st. №5,6,7,8 of department of CHPP-1 n.a. B.Orazbayev by consortium consisting of “ECOSERVICE-S” LLP together with “Infratech” LLP under the contract № 766483/2022/1 dated 21.11.2022 in accordance with design and estimate documentation developed by “Renaissance Plus” LLP were carried out.
Installation of gas analyzing equipment and automated information and measurement system of emission control of pollutants in exhaust gas ducts, engineering support, networks and systems.

In 2023, the following measures are implemented at CHPP-2 according to the Investment Budget: In order to increase reliability of power supply to consumers by ensuring continuity of electricity and heat generation, a set of measures is being implemented at the territory of CHPP-2 on the object “Combined ash and slag removal system (7th stage). Construction and installation works at CHPP-2 named after A. Zhakutov of JSC AlES”. Construction and installation works are carried out by the contractor “KURE GRUP” LLP under the contract No. 778031/2023/1 dated 30.03.2023 in accordance with the design and estimate documentation developed by the PRK “PROEKTNYI INSTITUT “SEMIPALATINSKGRAZHANPROEKT”.
Technological solutions provide for construction and installation works on development, transport and storage of ash and slag wastes.
