Every day was eventful, interesting and educational…
Young specialists of AlES JSC share their impressions of the educational forum
In mid-November 2022, the Youth Educational Forum was held in Turkestan. AlES JSC was represented by seven young guys. Each of them scored the highest score according to the results of the challenge conducted by Samruk-Kazyna JSC, aimed at developing physical, intellectual and emotional abilities.
– 1,468 people from all companies of the Foundation took part in the 10-day challenge. Of these, 178 young specialists were selected, including our guys from AlES. After the competition was announced to us, I took the preparations responsibly. During this period I saw many new qualities in myself. Every day I ran or walked more than 2 km, kept my work area clean, observed my emotions and wrote words of gratitude as required in the tasks. And my efforts were not in vain. Based on the results of the challenge, I also passed,” shared Aizada Tleukhan, economist at the repair service of CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbaeva.
Aidar Besenov, chief specialist technologist of the electrical machine shop of the Kapshagai hydroelectric power station named after. Sh. Chokina had been planning for a long time to come to Turkestan and visit historical places and attractions.
Thanks to his participation in the forum, he not only visited, but also learned a lot of interesting things about the history of the city. According to the quest assignments, he and the guys studied the inscriptions on the walls of the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, made coins, built yurts, baked bread, shot with a bow, played asyki, chose a khan, learned trade… Aidar is sure that everyone learned what they needed for themselves, that they could improve his life, make it more interesting. Initially, he had no idea that events of this format could be so interesting and useful.
The forum lasted only three days, but invaluable experience, unforgettable emotions and memories for many years were gained.
“I attended such an event for the first time and received a lot of impressions,” continued Nurzhan Kaliev, leading economist of the budget and economic analysis department of AlES JSC. – Every day was eventful, interesting and educational. Starting from the morning training and ending with the evening event. At the forum, I realized that you need to be honest with yourself, notice not only your strengths, but also your shortcomings. Secondly, I realized that in difficult and controversial life situations it is always possible to find a compromise or consensus. I liked the words “Create your own mood!”
The event was attended by representatives of 77 companies from different regions of the country.
– On the second day of the Forum there was a quest on knowledge of national traditions. We were divided into 10 teams. Each stage of the quest was very exciting. We didn’t even notice how the day passed. Our team “Salad” took first place,” said Aset Amirbekov, head of the repair service of CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbaeva. – The next day we had a strategy session. 14 groups were formed, and within each group there were also mini groups. At the beginning, completing the tasks was very difficult; each participant had his own opinion. It was difficult to come to a common decision, but we were able to reach a consensus on the development and youth policy projects of other companies that we liked, which the guys shared. I learned about the “100 New Faces of KTZ” project, where young railway workers under the age of 35 can participate. I think it would be interesting to use such experience in our company to increase the involvement and interest of young people.
In the process of participating in the youth forum, the children learned the mechanisms for discovering their leadership qualities, realizing their capabilities, and independence in decision-making.
Nazerka Naghashbek, personnel training engineer at CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbayev, I especially remember the moments when the guys, sitting opposite each other, looked into each other’s eyes. In her opinion, it looked so piercing that, as if, looking into the eyes, the guys saw each other’s soul. Everyone saw their loved one, which caused a storm of emotions.
We thank the organizers for the quality of the forum. The program was thought out quite clearly and down to the smallest detail. Thanks to all the participants, we became friends, had time to communicate and exchange knowledge,” said Aidos Masiraliev, 6th category driver at CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbaeva.
As the results of the forum showed, the main goal of uniting teams from different industries of Samruk-Kazyna JSC was achieved 100%. It is very important for the guys that a common chat room has been created in instant messengers to continue communication, exchange experiences and mutual assistance on emerging issues of our joint activities.
