Energy of the past in the present

History comes to life! We are pleased to introduce a new section in Instagram – “Living Legacy”, where archive photos come to life and take us back to the times when Almaty’s energy industry was just starting to emerge.

The first issue is dedicated to a unique picture from the archive of CHPP-1 named after B.Orazbayev – the installation of the first circulation pump at CES (as CHPP used to be called), 1934.

Archive photos represent a window into the past. They carefully preserve the atmosphere of time, sincere looks and faces of people who stood at the origins of our industry. Today, with the help of advanced technologies, these moments come to life: you can feel the breath of the station, see the smallest details and literally touch history.

Each revived frame is not only a memory, but also gratitude to those who with their own hands created the future in which we live today. By preserving and revitalizing the past, we draw inspiration for new achievements and discoveries!
