Efficiency and achievements: World Occupational Safety and Health Day was celebrated at AlES JSC

AlES JSC held the annual Review – competition for the best organisation of work on labour protection among production departments of AlES JSC, timed to the World Day of Labour Protection.

This year the field meeting of employees of safety and labour protection services of all production departments was held at CHPP-2 n.a. A.Zhakutov, where the results for 2023 were summed up and the tasks for 2024 were considered.

The winner of the competition was the Labour Safety and Protection Service of CHPP-2 n.a. A.Zhakutov, and they were awarded the Cup for the best organization of labour protection work.

Second place went to the Labour Safety and Protection Service of CHPP-3. And the third place was taken by the Labour Safety and Protection Service of HPP of Cascade. All winners were rewarded with certificates of honour and cash bonuses, in accordance with the Collective Agreement of JSC AlES.

The main purpose of the World Day of Labour Protection is to draw the attention of employers, employees, and the public to the problems of occupational injuries and unfavourable working conditions, as well as to contribute to the solution of these problems – said Karim Sartayev, Head of the Industrial Safety and Labour Protection Department.
