“Daddy, when can I come to your work again?”
CHPP-3 hosted an Open Day for employees’ children
During the month-long campaign on safety and labor protection, CHPP-3 held a truly heartfelt and memorable event for children to learn about their parents’ workplace. This initiative not only contributed to strengthening the culture of safety, but also served as a vivid example of engagement, openness, and intergenerational continuity. For many children, this day opened the door to the fascinating world of energy, an industry that quietly but reliably provides comfort and convenience in our homes every day. The opportunity to see where their parents work, to experience complex and important processes, to ask questions and get answers was a remarkable event for the children.
“When my children found out that they would be able to visit CHPP-3 and see where I work, they literally counted the days,” says Rinat Avazbakiev, deputy head of the electrical workshop at CHPP-3. ‘During the tour, they listened with interest and weren’t shy about asking questions. They were especially surprised by the ‘trick’ with the changing color of the liquid in the chemical workshop. But what touched me most was one question they asked when we got home: ‘Dad, when can we go to your work again?’’
The event also had a sincere impact on the parents. For many, it became an opportunity to take a fresh look at their work – through the eyes of their own children.
“Thank you for this day! Our son was very impressed by the tour,” said Maria Nikolenko, chief accountant at CHPP-3. “He was particularly impressed by the main control panel. If he decides one day to continue the dynasty of energy workers in the fourth generation, I will be happy!
Events like this are not just a walk around the production sites. They are an emotional connection, memories for a lifetime and, perhaps, the first steps towards choosing a future profession. And who knows – maybe one of these kids will one day become part of the big energy team too.
