AlES: work with contracting organizations is underway

Recently, AlES JSC held a meeting on occupational health and safety with the participation of heads of contracting organizations.

During the meeting, important issues on safety and labour protection were discussed. So in AlES JSC from March 01, 2024 the repair campaign on preparation of equipment of production departments of AlES JSC for autumn-winter period of 2024-2025 was started. In the course of works by safety and labour protection services of AlES JSC 18 violations committed by employees of contractors in production departments were revealed. Information on all violations was communicated to contractors for taking measures to prevent similar violations.

Also, attention was drawn to the need for control on the part of responsible persons of contractors for safe production of works, the right of AlES JSC to apply measures to prohibit access to the territory of production departments by employees of contractors for systematic violations of regulatory safety requirements and the right to impose penalties for violations in the field of safety and labour protection.

To increase understanding of safety culture, contractors were familiarized with materials on mechanisms of forming safety culture of employees on the territory of production departments – said Karim Sartayev, Head of Occupational Health and Safety Department of AlES JSC.
