AlES: results of the “Stop Drugs” round table and encouragement to take active measures

Earlier this year, AlES JSC hosted the “Stop Drugs” round table organised by the Security Department. The event was held with the participation of the company’s employees, including representatives of the YO ‘Zharkyn Bolashak’, and was devoted to crucial issues of preventing the drug use.

The participants discussed initiatives aimed at creating a healthy environment within and outside the workplace. They suggested strengthening information work: holding lectures with the involvement of specialists, organizing thematic trainings for employees, and more actively using internal communication channels to disseminate materials about drug abuse.

The employees of the receiving and offloading centre promptly responded to the proposal to create awareness-raising videos on the theme “We stand up against drugs” and came up with a video material.

– The video was made by employees of the production unit to raise awareness about the harm of drugs, to inform people about the consequences of drug use, as well as the risks to health and social life within the framework of the campaign ‘STOP Drugs’, – shared Ilyas Zhambyl, a leading engineer of the receiving and offloading centre department of the WWC. This initiative became a vivid example of employees’ involvement in addressing socially important tasks.

The Security Department of AlES JSC expressed its gratitude to eceiving and offloading centre for the initiative and civic position. Appealing to the structural divisions of the company, the Security Department calls on colleagues not to stand aside: “Each of us can contribute to the protection of young people. Please support the measures proposed at the round table – organize events within your staff, disseminate knowledge, show your concern”.

AlES JSC is confident that only joint efforts can counter threats and create an environment where the values of health and lawfulness come first.
