AlES JSC and SiemensEnergy discussed staff training for gas-fired stations
On July 30, 2025, AlES JSC hosted a meeting with representatives of SiemensEnergy, the G.Daukeyev AUES, and PGU Turkestan LLP on the training of personnel to work at gas-fired stations.

The discussion focused on training personnel to operate the new equipment at the A.Zhakutov CHPP-2. PowerAcademySiemensEnergy specialists presented programs for working with the Omnivise T3000 system, including a basic course, an engineering course, and a maintenance course, as well as 3D visualization technologies, distance learning, and a digital simulator that allows trainees to practice their actions, including in emergency situations.

“Comprehensive training of specialists is a key factor in the successful implementation of gasification projects. We aim to introduce global training practices and create conditions for the long-term development of human resources,” emphasized Bauyrzhan Kaliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board – Chief Engineer of AlES JSC.

Following the meeting, it was decided to organize staff training using the Omnivise T3000 program with a digital simulator, prepare a joint appeal to the Ministry of Energy on personnel training issues, develop a long-term training strategy for 2026-2029 for CHPP-2 and CHPP-3, to consider the creation of a retraining center based at the AUES, and to ensure that ERS contractors train employees in accordance with international standards.

The measures taken will make it possible to form a qualified personnel reserve and ensure the reliable and accident-free operation of new equipment at gas-fired stations.
