AlES at the Almaty Marathon: strength of spirit and team energy
The Almaty Marathon is not just a sporting event, but a celebration of willpower, unity and healthy living. This year, thousands of runners took part, including the AlES team – eight of our colleagues lined up at the start to test themselves, share their energy and give the city a shining example of team spirit.

For many participants, this race has become a special tradition.
“For me The Almaty Marathon is more than just a sport. This year, I ran it for the third time, and each time it is a test of character that gives me incredible emotions and a sense of pride in me. The atmosphere of support and unity makes the marathon a truly unforgettable event,” said Dina Abdimazhit, senior inspector for industrial safety and labor protection at the CHPP-1 named after B.Orazbayev.

Zhanerke Panarkhanqyzy, production preparation engineer at PTO PRP Energoremont, also shared her impressions:
– This marathon was the easiest one for me. I was inspired by the result and set a new goal – to participate in a half marathon. It also added an eighth medal to my collection. The event itself was of a high standard, and it was a joy that my colleagues and I were part of such a significant event.

For Aidos Masiralimov, senior turbine operator at the CHPP-1 named after B.Orazbayev, this marathon was a real test:
– The first 21 km were easy, but after the 25th, the real struggle with myself began – cramps, fatigue, tension. I realised that one run is not enough for a full marathon – special training is needed. But it is precisely such trials that temper the spirit, and I am sure that I will come back stronger.
Ramazan Moldakadyr, an engineer in the ZTC repair preparation group, noted that team spirit added special value to the marathon:
“In the spring, I ran 21 km for the first time, and this autumn, I ran 10 km. Both races gave me tremendous motivation and energy. This time, we had a lot of colleagues with us, and although everyone ran their own distance, we felt like one team. We supported each other throughout the race.”
The Almaty Marathon was not just a sporting event for our colleagues, but a symbol of their desire for development and new goals. Each participant pushed their own boundaries, discovered new opportunities and proved that willpower and team support can lead the way forward.
For the company, this participation reflects our common spirit: we know how to be united not only at work, but also beyond it. AlES is the energy that drives us forward, whether in production or on the marathon track.
