ZTK: billiards tournament

At the beginning of December 2022, the Western Thermal Complex, together with the trade union organization, held the “Free Pyramid” billiards tournament. ZTK veterans Zh.S. Ormambekov, E.A. Sasykov, V.A. Albrecht, S.S. Dzhingilbaev were invited to the competition. 28 people from all divisions of ZTK participated in the billiards tournament.

– The development of billiards and, in general, the promotion of various sporting events is carried out with the aim of promoting a healthy lifestyle among employees. Sport strengthens the collective spirit, friendship, tolerance. We share positivity and good mood,” noted ZTK Director Isakhan Syrgabaev in his parting words.

In the individual competition, first place in the tournament was taken by Adilbek Nysanbaev, a boiler shop operator. In second place is Arman Iptildaev, a boiler shop lineman, and in honorable third place is Kairkhan Abzeitov, a boiler shop lineman.

In the team competition, places were distributed as follows: first place for the boiler shop, second for the thermal automation shop, third for the electrical shop.

– We are glad that the guys from the boiler shop won both the individual competition and the team competition. I love billiards. This is a special game because beginners who know the theoretical foundations of the game can not only compete with professionals, but also win. Those who can think through and explain the consequences of a particular blow. My colleagues and friends often play billiards,” said winner Adilbek Nysanbaev.

In a solemn atmosphere, the director of the department, Isakhan Syrgabaev, presented medals, diplomas and cups to the tournament winners. In the near future, the ZTK plans to hold table tennis and mini-football competitions among workers.
