Youth of JSC “AlES”: together against violence

On December 5, 2023, a meeting of the youth organization “Zharkyn Bolashak” of AlES JSC was held, bringing together 41 employees from different divisions of the company. The event was held as part of the international campaign “16 Days of Action against Gender-Based Violence.”

Global and Kazakh statistics on domestic violence presented at the meeting showed the harsh reality that many women face.

Young activists of CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbayeva created a video in which the problems of domestic violence are clearly presented. Guys from different divisions of the company decided to support the idea by adding their own parts to it. This shows unity against domestic violence. Young people call on society to pay attention to this problem and fight its manifestations together.

When young, dynamic and active people take action to protect women’s rights, it becomes a powerful impetus for change. It is important to remember that this is not only a problem for the victims, but also a problem for the entire society.

Solidarity, support, awareness and active participation can be the key to change.
