All production departments of AlES JSC summarized the results of their work for 2023. They were announced at the traditional watch-keeping meetings held for all four station watches. The meetings were addressed by the heads of the stations’ departments, important aspects of the company’s work were discussed and priorities for the coming year were determined.

Including the currently topical issue of seismic safety. Heads of the Civil Defense and Emergency Situations Staff of the Stations spoke about the current seismic situation, increased seismic activity in the country and the region, as well as about measures to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment at production sites.

The technical and economic indicators of the departments were also analyzed. In particular, information on the performance indicators of the plants for the past year was presented, and the reasons influencing their change were outlined and analyzed.

Another topical topic on the agenda of the watch-keeping meetings was the issue of occupational health and safety. Current measures to ensure labour safety, compliance with rules and safety techniques were reviewed, and steps to improve them were proposed. The meeting participants analyzed in detail the problem of staff turnover and proposed measures to reduce it. Including through improvement of labour conditions and motivation of personnel, the issue of personnel training and professional development was also discussed.

Another issue on the agenda was the report of the company’s trade union on the work done and new social benefits for people working in harmful and hazardous conditions.

Station directors summarised the results of the year and had an interested discussion at each of the watch-keeping meetings. They spoke about the performance of the enterprises over the past year, outlined priorities and prospects for the coming 2024, shared their vision of the enterprises’ development and answered questions from their employees. As noted by the participants of the meetings, they were held in an atmosphere of active discussion and exchange of views on the topics discussed.

Traditional watch-keeping meetings in the production departments of AlES JSC have become an important mechanism for collective and comprehensive analysis of the enterprise’s work, discussion of current problems and determination of the development strategy for the future.
