The warmth of family values at Kapshagai HPP: the story of the Nurgaliyevs family

Within the framework of celebrating the decade of Nauryznama, which symbolizes renewal and unity, a special video was shot at Kapshagai HPP named after Sh.Chokin. It is devoted to eternal values – family values, and the main characters are the ones who contribute to the work of the station every day: the young family of Nurgalievs.

Aidos Nurgaliyev, shift supervisor of the Electromachine Shop, and Botakoz Nurgaliyeva, senior industrial safety inspector, are not just colleagues, but also partners in life. Their story caught the attention of their colleagues for a reason. “We chose them because they represent the epitome of harmony: growing professionally together, maintaining the traditions of a large family and raising their children in a spirit of respect and solidarity”, explained Akpeyil Myrzagalikyzy, Head of Logistics and author of the interview.

Moments of the awe remained behind the scenes. Botakoz admitted: “At first I was worried – it is a responsibility to be the “face” of such important values. But now I realise how meaningful it is. We come together as a team. We even overcome difficulties together, learning from our elders, like mum Guldariga, who always reminds us: family begins with small steps of care”.

Aydos, accustomed to responsibility at work, smiles: “A camera is not a turbine, but even here I had to pull myself together. I am glad that our role model can inspire others. After all, happiness is when you are welcomed at home and appreciated at work”.

Guldariga Oralbayevna, Aidos’ mum, added special warmth to the video. Her advice about patience, tradition and love passed down through generations became the heart of the story. “Nauryznama is a time when even the sun is being renewed. So does a family: it needs roots and the light of kind words in order to blossom”, she said in an interview.

The cameraman Aset Gubashov, an electrician, usually busy with equipment adjustment, was catching emotions this time: “Such projects serve as a feast for the soul. I would like every family at the HPP to feel that their story is important. May there be more such stories, and our children grow up in a world where family stands for support”.

Botakoz concludes the video by saying, “I am proud that our family has been a part of this. I dream that years from now we will hold on to each other as gently as we do. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to say: family is the most precious thing we have”.

Employees of Kapshagai HPP named after Sh.Chokin once again proved: the main strength of the station is in people. And families like the Nurgaliyevs remind us that even in the rhythm of turbines there is room for warmth that unites hearts.
