In accordance with the signed Agreements “On Investment Obligations” with the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies and Protection of Competition of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, AlES JSC carried out measures to replace, upgrade, reconstruct, re-equip existing assets, new construction, as well as maintain the current production level in the amount of 16.3 billion rubles.tenge.

As part of the fulfillment of Investment Obligations, the following main activities were carried out:

– Replacement and re-routing of the clarified pipeline from the CHPP-1 industrial site to 21 Serikova Street.

– Reconstruction and expansion of Almaty CHP-2. The third stage. Boiler unit No.8. Implementation of the SMR

– Reconstruction of the combined ash and slag removal system of CHP-2 JSC “AlES” (Stage 4) Execution of the CMP

– Reconstruction of the main steam pipeline (1st stage) of CHP-2. Execution of the CMP

– Repair and maintenance of loading and unloading equipment (Works on emergency repair of the VRS-125 car dumper of the department of CHP-2 of JSC AlES)

– Construction work on the repair of protective dams: (Restoration of the anti-filtration screen of section No. 1, ash dump No. 1 of CHP-2 JSC AlES)

– Construction works on the installation of water intake equipment: “Construction of structures and a hydraulic station for water intake from the Kok-Uzek reservoir” (A water intake structure with pumping stations of the 1st and 2nd lifting and a hydraulic station for water intake from the tail section of the Aksai-Kargalinsky main canal for water supply from the intake to ash dump No. 1 sections No. 1 and No. 2 of TPP-2 of JSC AlES)
