The opportunity to learn about vacancies and the employer first-hand

Representatives of AlES participated in the Job Fair, which took place at AUPET named after. Gumarbek Daukeev at the end of April 2023

– The event was organized at a high level. The fair was attended by students from the best universities in the city – AUPET, KazNU, KBTU and others. Many students came with prepared resumes and asked many questions about production and development opportunities,” shared Zhadyra Soltanova, head of the HR department of A. Zhakutov CHPP-2, company representative at the fair. “There were a lot of people who wanted to know about our company. At the fair I was once again convinced that our company keeps up with the times.

This year, not only employees of human resources departments were invited to the Job Fair, but also two young specialists, AUES graduates of 2021. The guys in overalls and helmets stood out from the general background.

– I graduated from the university two years ago, I work in the turbine shop of CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbayev,” continued Elaman Tanirberdi, a mechanic for servicing power plant equipment in the turbine shop. “We explained to the graduates and showed by our example that work in production is very interesting and exciting. They said that we have a youth organization that actively holds many interesting events.

Arailym Kuralbek, an electrician at the main control room of power plants in the electrical shop, spoke about the special attitude towards women in the company. She shared her impressions of the work.

– It’s very interesting to work in production. And when the graduates learned all this and saw us in our beautiful uniform, they themselves expressed interest and began to fill out forms en masse,” noted Arailym Kuralbek, a representative of AlES and a 2021 AUPET graduate.

Participation in the job fair gave HR workers the opportunity to conduct mini-interviews and identify future job applicants at the initial stage.

“I was pleased with the keen interest on the part of the students in our field of activity. It was noticeable that young people really wanted to apply their knowledge in their work. We have collected a good harvest in the form of profiles of applicants, whom we will invite for an interview directly at the station. I believe that we were not mistaken in taking our young workers with us. The students had the opportunity to communicate with the workshop workers themselves, to make sure that they really have the opportunity to work at large stations and confirm their qualifications. A young station employee, by his example, is the best “living informant and motivator” for applicants,” said Ainur Temirbaeva, head of the HR department of CHPP-1 named after. B. Ozbaeva.

The format of the fair was very lively and bright. Master classes from different employers were held in a relaxed atmosphere. Young, beginning professionals had a unique opportunity to talk directly with employers, learn about available vacancies, and discuss working conditions. Students enthusiastically filled out application forms for future employment.
