The most sharp-witted power engineers “Toki” are in the top!

Eight teams of power engineers took part in the KVN festival “Energy of the Young” of Samruk-Energy Group of Companies. The competition of the most cheerful and sharp-witted representatives of the central office and subsidiary organizations of the Group revealed the winner. The team “Toki v Shoke” of AlES JSC climbed the podium of humor and sharp-wittedness.

Chairman of the jury – President of the KVN Union of RK, the founder of the game “Zhaidarman” Yessen Yeleuken noted the sparkling humor of the contest participants and excellent preparation of all teams. Everyone prepared for the game enthusiastically and creatively, selecting the wittiest guys in their large teams. The team “Toki v Shoke” included nine power engineers from different production units of JSC “AlES”. The team was headed by Asset Gubashov, electrician on repair of relay protection and automation equipment of Kapshagay HPP named after Sh.Chokin.

– Participating in KVN revealed my my potential, which I didn’t even suspect, Asset admitted. – During the preparation for the competition I found new good friends, got a lot of emotions and information. I am very grateful to my team for the beautiful game on a professional level and to the fans for their rave support.

KVN is one of the few games full of creativity, humor, satire, wit, theatrical and musical numbers, which has been uniting all generations for several decades. Despite its age, it never gets outdated, involving millions of fans and players in its orbit.

“The KVN game between the teams of Samruk-Energy’s subsidiary organizations was held at the highest level. The teams showed creative and funny performances, and the atmosphere was charged with positivity,” notes one of the players Aidar Beissenov, chief specialist-technologist of electric machine shop of Kapshagay HPP named after Sh.Chokin. – We, the team “Toki v Shoke”, put all the effort into the preparation, and we are proud that we took first place. This was possible due to well-coordinated work, humor and support of each other”.

Participation in the KVN revealed the participants themselves in a new way. They have opened up a new side for colleagues. Well, for them, participating in the cheerful and sharp-witted competition has become a unique experience. Although for many, long before the start of the game, there was no time for jokes, it seemed so responsible to trust to represent the company in KVN.

“We started with preparation, and from the very beginning it was clear that this was not just a joke contest – it was a real team effort,” admits Tassibek Beibarys, an electrician of line telecommunication and wire broadcasting facilities at CHPP-3. – The run-throughs were scheduled, and we rehearsed each scene to perfection. We practiced every joke, every gesture so that the audience not only laughed, but also felt the energy we wanted to convey. During the run-throughs, we really felt that we were getting stronger as a team each time, and the jokes were honed to perfection.

Special attention was paid to interaction with partners on stage. After all, KVN is not just humor, it is live communication with the audience. We became friends to such an extent that each of us could support each other even in the most unexpected situations.

Tasibek emphasized the technical part, without which such a colorful show would not have been possible. The lighting and sound team was always ready for any experiments and always at the top, he emphasized the work of his colleagues.

“We used lights, music and special effects to enhance the jokes and make the numbers more colorful. This added extra dynamics and interest to our performances,” Tasibek said confidently. – Every stage, from the first rehearsals to the final show, was a real challenge, but in the end we were able to create real magic on stage! The important thing is that we all put 100% into the process and the result didn’t take long to come. The atmosphere in the team was incredible – support, laughter and positivity. I am proud to have been part of such a team where every moment mattered.

Well, the atmosphere on stage and in the hall is a separate story. To see how the audience lives your jokes and responds to your performances is an incredible feeling. We managed not only to make jokes, but also to charge the audience with our energy. It was really an unforgettable experience.

KVN participants unanimously note the unique experience of teamwork, as well as the support of the fans.

“The atmosphere in the hall was incredible: laughter, applause and energy that filled every moment. No wonder that the theme of KVN was the energy of the young,” says one of the fans, Maksat Ospanov, an electrician repairing relay protection and automation equipment at CHPP-3. – The energy was felt in everything. Participants put their best foot forward. The teams surprised with their performances – original jokes, creative numbers and a great sense of humor. I felt like I was part of a real celebration. In the future, I hope that such events will be held to maintain the corporate spirit of the JSC. It’s a great way to lift your spirits and charge with positivity! And I, as a fan, gave my 100% in support of our team”.

The only girl among the nine players was Moldir Zhampozova, an engineer in the production and technical department of ZTK. She blended in perfectly with the male team, adding sophistication and a certain charm to the reprises and jokes.

“The competition was at a high level – all the teams were well prepared”, she said. – I really enjoyed it – may there be more events like this.

Noting the good performance of all teams and the high level of competition, Dias Utegenov, foreman of the Electrical Shop of CHPP-3, believes that all teams showed creative and funny performances, the atmosphere was charged with positivity, but the team “Toki v Shoke”, having put all their efforts into preparation, rightfully became the winner.

“We thank the organizers and competitors for a bright event. We are looking forward to new games and new victories,” he added. His assessment is also supported by Aizada Toleukhan, chief specialist of the OPP, who was heartily cheering for her teammates.

“The emotions are just off the charts! Seeing our guys put themselves on stage was incredible. And I’m proud to be able to support such a team,” she continued. – I was especially happy to see our fans actively cheering for our guys. It was a real energy boost, and I think without such strong support the victory would not have been so bright. Thank you all for this unforgettable day!”

The team “Toki v Shoke” confidently beat all their rivals. The team “KTsnutiye” (Central Office of Samruk-Energy JSC) took the second place from the AlES team, and the team “Transformator” (GRES-1 LLP) climbed to the third step of the podium.

Thus, “Toki” are now not just “in shock”, but also in the top of the winners of the first round. Now they will have to represent Samruk Energy in the KVN games of the whole Samruk-Kazyna holding. That’s where emotions will be and that’s where loud support and powerful energy of palms of all power engineers of Kazakhstan will be needed!

Good luck, “Toki”!
