The main environmental measures for 2018

Atmospheric air protection: It is planned to carry out work to maintain the degree of purification of ash-collecting devices on boiler units of stations, repair and replacement of air heater cubes, repair of boiler burners, emulsifiers, anti-corrosion work, replacement of metal structures, pipes, worn surfaces, elimination of violations in the technological cycle on boiler units of CHP-1, 2, 3, dedusting work fuel supply path, carrying out maintenance work on boiler units.

The planned costs are 558 million tenge.

Protection and rational use of water resources: Measures are planned to repair and replace ash pipelines, pumping equipment in boiler rooms, turbine, chemical workshops, treatment plants of CHP-1, to reduce water losses during transportation of ash and slag waste to CHP-2 and CHP-3, repair of the circulating production system (bagernaya, cooling towers) at CHP-2.

The planned costs are 165 million tenge.

Protection of land resources, rational use of mineral resources, flora and fauna: Work is planned to replace worn-out pipelines to prevent the spill of ash and slag waste and pulp, landscaping of territories of administrative-territorial units, increasing the area of green spaces at CHP-1, reclamation of degraded territories at CHP-3.

The planned costs are 114 million tenge.

Waste management of production and consumption, radiation, biological and chemical safety: It is planned to carry out work on the reconstruction and expansion of the ash dump at CHP-2, to prevent dusting of ash dumps of CHP-1, 2, 3, delivery of solid household waste, mercury-containing lamps and other hazardous waste departments of CHP-1, 2, 3, ZTK, Kapshagayskaya HPP, Cascade HPP, Power Repair plant.

The planned costs are 1,009 million tenge.
