The main environmental measures for 2017

The main environmental measures for 2017

Protection of atmospheric air:

It is planned to carry out work to maintain the degree of cleaning of ash-collecting devices on boiler units of stations, repair and replacement of air heater cubes, repair of boiler burners, emulsifiers, anti-corrosion works, replacement of metal structures, pipes, worn surfaces, elimination of violations in the technological cycle on boiler units of CHP-1, 2, 3, work on dedusting the fuel supply path.

The planned costs are 480 million tenge.

Protection and rational use of water resources:

Measures are planned to repair and replace ash pipelines, pumping equipment in the boiler house, turbine, chemical workshops, treatment plants of CHP-1, to reduce water losses during transportation of ash and slag waste to CHP-2 and CHP-3, repair of the circulating production system (bagernaya, cooling towers) at CHP-2.

The planned costs are 133 million tenge.

Protection of land resources, rational use of mineral resources, flora and fauna:

It is planned to replace worn-out pipelines to prevent the spillage of ash and slag waste and pulp, landscaping the territories of administrative-territorial units, increasing the area of green spaces, recultivation of degraded territories at CHP-1 and CHP-3, carrying out repair and restoration work at the ash dump of CHP-2.

The planned costs are 42.7 million tenge.

Waste management of production and consumption, radiation, biological and chemical safety:

It is planned to carry out work to prevent dusting of ash dumps, the disposal of solid household waste, mercury-containing lamps and other hazardous waste.

The planned costs are 8.3 million tenge.
