Now the power engineers have a hot time: the heating season in the nose, assemblies and units are being actively repaired, coal, fuel oil and other materials necessary for the uninterrupted supply of heat and electricity to the population are being prepared. Work is hard, often without weekends and holidays. God forbid, there will be a disaster, and craftsmen and technicians will have to fix malfunctions even at night.

The founder of a large friendly dynasty, Vladimir Bezruk, instilled in his three sons such hard work and love for a high-risk profession. In 1949, he was discharged from the army and got a job as a caretaker at the Baraba GRES in the Novosibirsk region. The veteran, who went through the entire Great Patriotic War from beginning to end and received many combat awards, did not know that the energy path would be fateful for him, and the power plant – his native home.
It was here, at the place of work, that Vladimir Antonovich met his future wife Antonina Ivanovna. In 1973, he was replaced as deputy head of the fuel and transport shop of the Almaty GRES (now CHPP-3). The participant of the war left for another world in 1996, but his business is continued today by sons Anatoly and Viktor, grandchildren Maria and Olga.
– Since childhood, we knew how hard the labor at the power plant is,-says Viktor Bezruk, chief engineer of CHPP-3 of JSC “Ales”. “Sometimes my father disappeared for days at work. However, the question of choosing a profession was not strict before us, especially since my mother also worked in this area.
The main value in the bezruk family has always been a responsible attitude to work, and sometimes even to the detriment of personal life. And now the principles are the same: if something happens at the station, at any time of the day or night, the brothers wear special clothes and go to the workshops. No problem can be solved here without personal participation. It’s good that your loved ones understand this well.
Once on the site of the village of Otegen batyr (former energy) there were wastelands and ravines. The construction of the power plant gave life to the settlement, which would become the district center. Residential buildings, a hospital, a fire station, a kindergarten, shops – in a word, all the infrastructure has grown. And today the CHPP-a city-forming enterprise of 3-400 people, provides heat to the village of Ili district and is enough for the entire Almaty region for 1 billion US dollars.kilowatt-hours generate electricity. Last year, the power plant celebrated the 50th anniversary.
Viktor Vladimirovich began his career as a simple worker. In the boiler and turbine workshops, in the workshop of thermal automation, all the basics were passed. His older brother Anatoly works here as a deputy head of the workshop. And Victor’s daughters – representatives of the third generation of the family dynasty Olga and Maria-after school graduated with honors from the Kazakh economic University. T. Ryskulova. Master Olga is now the head of the Planning and economic Department of the CHP, and her sister Maria works as deputy chief accountant. –
We like order and order in the electric power industry, because this industry is strategically important for the whole country, – says Olga Bezruk. – We try not to disappoint our father and in no case take advantage of his holding a high position. On the contrary, we feel a great responsibility and know that if something goes wrong, we will have a strict demand. This is characteristic of us since childhood.
Dad brought little Olya and Masha to the station, showed the equipment, drawings, explained how everything works. Then the girls realized that this is a real production in which products are produced, on which a lot depends in our life. After graduating from the university, they themselves, without the care of their father and brother, got a job at the CHP and over the years proved themselves to be good specialists. In principle, every parent dreams of children following in their footsteps. In particular, diligence, perseverance and dedication are inherited in Bezruk.
– The production here is complex, comparable to the clockwork, – explains Anatoly Bezruk. – If one unit fails, the entire power plant may stall. Therefore, it is impossible without training personnel, without transmitting energy from generation to generation. Everyone enjoys the benefits of civilization-heating, electricity. But few people understand that behind it is the huge work of power engineers, our friendly teams.
This was especially difficult during the perestroika period, the brothers recall. Funding for the industry was reduced, wages were not paid for six months. Many people could not cope with the difficulties and went into business at that time. Only honest people remained. In this regard, the number of family dynasties, which were numerous at CHPP 3 during the Soviet Union, decreased.
In recent years, along with the growth of the economy as a whole, the situation at this enterprise has improved. Repairs are carried out according to plan, the number of equipment failures has sharply decreased, workers are provided with a good social package, and a children’s recreation camp is operating.
The next day, Viktor and Anatoly, together with their wives and children, gathered at a common festive table. They said the main words of congratulations on family day, of course, Mother and grandmother – Antonina Ivanovna Bezruk, who was already in her ninth decade. He, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, a veteran power engineer with half a century of experience, brought up his children and grandchildren in an atmosphere of kindness and respect for the working profession. Thanks to him, the followers of the glorious dynasty proudly receive the title of Man of Labor.
