The AlES team took 1st place in the billiards tournament

At the beginning of December, according to tradition, the annual VI Almaty billiards championship was held among workers of the Almaty energy complex in honor of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Energy Day. 16 people took part in the competition, 4 from each company: AlPP JSC, KEGOC JSC, AZhK JSC and Moynakskaya HPP JSC. The competition took place in the billiard club “Moscow”, the refereeing was carried out by the chief judge of the Republic of Kazakhstan Raimzhan Buzurkhodzhaev.

Daulet Karamoldaev, leading engineer of the relay protection and automation system of CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbayeva, the organizer of the event, noted that this year AlES JSC was preparing the championship. Every year the level of players in the Almaty energy complex is growing. Daulet played the final with his boss, who lost only in the counter game.

“I am participating in this tournament for the first time, last year the tournament was held in the same club, but I was there as a fan,” continued Kanatbek Kambarbekov, head of ETL CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbaeva. – I think the main goal of such tournaments is: firstly, it is a healthy lifestyle, since during a game the player walks up to several kilometers around the table, and secondly, it is an intellectual game that makes you think about ways out, winning back and ways to get the ball into the hole, and thirdly, it is team spirit, new acquaintances, communication and positive emotions.

I really enjoyed participating in this tournament, despite the festive mood, the games were held in intense and exciting competition. I express my deep gratitude to the organizers of this tournament.

The prizes were as follows:

1st place – Daulet Karamoldaev, employee of AlES JSC, CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbaeva, leading engineer of relay protection and automation.
2nd place – Kanatbek Kambarbekov, employee of AlES JSC, CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbaeva, head of ETL.
3rd place – Eldar Duysetai, employee of Moinakskaya HPP JSC, head of the OKS.
