The Spartakiad was held in ten sports – mini-football, volleyball, basketball, arcan tartu, asyk atu, arm wrestling, togyz kumalak, chess, table tennis and e-sports (CS:GO). More than 400 athletes from 9 departments took part in the event.

The curtain of the competition was opened with a spectacular game of football. The teams that heated up the football competition did not want to easily give up the main race of the competition. But in sports there will only be one winner.

– In the final, a serious fight broke out between the strongest football teams of CHPP-2 and CHPP-3. The team of CHPP-2 won,” explained Erkebulan Bayanbai, senior foreman of the electrical machine shop at the Kapshagai HPP named after. Sh. Aidyn Suanbekov, a boiler cleaner at PRP Energoremont, began playing football at a young age. Football is a part of his life. Football is everything for the Suanbekov dynasty. She always plays for the PRP and AlES teams.

– I got a job at AlES in 2011. From that time until now I have been playing football with passion. My first sports day at Samruk-Energy JSC was in 2013, then we took 1st place. I was so proud! After that, every year we took prizes, and were always leaders among the group of companies of Samuryk-Kazyna JSC,” shared Aidyn Suanbekov. I’ve been playing professionally since 2002. He played in the First League of Kazakhstan “Ile-Saulet”. Now I play for the regional team. My goal is to score a goal in every game and become a champion! I don’t regret getting a job as a boiler cleaner. I’m an energy football player. It is a great honor for me to be a power engineer and to play for the AlES JSC team.

Bakhtiyar Yesenaly, a programmer engineer at ZTK, believes that the Spartakiad was held perfectly. He especially liked the fact that the selection of participants for the AlES basketball team was carried out with the help of the head coach of KazAST. This transparency and objectivity suited all the participants of the Spartakiad.

– Sports competitions helped our athletes develop agility, strength, endurance, and the ability to overcome difficulties. We have united into one whole, one family,” said Kanat Azimkhanov, leading engineer of the electrical laboratory of CHPP-3.

Chief specialist of the thermal automation and measurement workshop of TPP-1 named after. B. Orazbayev Baurzhan Bekturov is confident that participation in the Olympics is very important for all athletes among AlES employees.

– Winning the Spartakiad is very honorable because the strongest take part. In the first (arkan tartu) match, our opponents were the guys from CHPP-3. The first fight always turns out “lumpy”; the loss was an incentive to prepare for the next fight with PRP. But luck didn’t smile on us there either. We felt the advantage of our opponents, but on the whole the rest of the matches were successful, and our refereeing at the Spartakiad was excellent. We fought against the ZTK team to reach the finals, defeating them in the semi-finals and came in second place,” said Baurzhan.

According to Aktan Abylaikhan, engineer of the Repair Service of CHPP-1 named after. B. Orazbayev’s Spartakiad was held at a high level. Each team gave their 100%. This is not the first Olympics for him; he participated in the eSports discipline.

According to the results of the sports competition, the team of TPP-3 was recognized as the strongest (4 gold, 5 silver, 2 bronze). In second place is the team of the PRP “Energoremont” (3-gold, 2-silver, 4-bronze). The honorable third place went to CHPP-2 named after. A. Zhakutova (2-gold, 2-silver, 3-bronze).

– CHPP-3 received the overall team 1st place. This is an excellent result for us. In a short period of time, team captain Kanat Azimkhanov gathered the station’s best players in all sports. During the lunch break and in their free time from work, the guys trained to develop a unified team spirit and teamwork,” Galina Gorbovskaya, head of the HR department at CHPP-3, proudly said. – We had strong teams in football and volleyball. The most spectacular competition is in eSports. We took 1st place. We hope that the beginning of sports victories will give a positive result and an impetus for young people to take up sports. The AlES Spartakiad was very interesting and bright, with sporting enthusiasm, noisy and very fun. Cascade HPP fans received great pleasure and a lot of impressions from this event.
