Second place in the republican billiards tournament

Daulet Karamoldaev, head of the electrical workshop of the Western Thermal Complex, is one of the winners of the RK Cup

From April 10 to April 14, 2023, the tournament “Cup of the Republic of Kazakhstan in billiard sports “Free Pyramid” was held in Almaty.

The strongest representatives from all regions of Kazakhstan came to Almaty to participate in the tournament. Among them was the head of the electrical workshop of the Western Thermal Complex, Daulet Karamoldaev.

Daulet has been playing billiards since he was 12 years old and is a candidate for master of sports.

“In the group stage, the champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in billiards, Daria Koval, won the first match, then we managed to defeat Bahadur Sharipov 4:0, scoring 26 balls with a cue,” Daulet shared.

In the third match for reaching the 1/4 finals, he defeated the master of sports from Aktau in the counter game. And in the 1/4 finals he won against an international master of sports, world champion. In the semi-finals, Daulet played with a candidate for master of sports and beat him with a score of 5:1. And in the final he lost to the master of sports from Karaganda.
