Schoolchildren discover the world of energy: an excursion to the Kapshagai hydroelectric power station named after. Sh. Chokina

During the autumn holidays, an excursion to the station was held for 11th grade students of the Branch of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics. The event was held as part of career guidance work aimed at expanding knowledge about renewable energy sources and understanding the importance of the energy profession.

– I liked how simply and clearly they told us about the work of the hydroelectric power station. I myself live in Konaev, and I was interested in learning more about the operation of the station,” shared Alikhan Shikhiev, an 11th grade student.

Dastan Ozgeldi is confident that the knowledge gained on the excursion will be useful to him in the future:

– The excursion went well. I received a lot of rich information about the Kapshagai hydroelectric power station. It was very useful to learn how the station generates energy. We saw the real power of the hydroelectric power station.
