Safe flu vaccination: traditions of health care at AlES JSC
The current tariff of AlES JSC for electricity does not reimburse the costs of its production
The current maximum tariff of the company was approved by order of the Minister of Energy dated June 30, 2022 in the amount of 11.19 tenge/kWh of the Republic of Kazakhstan. However, this tariff for electrical energy does not provide reimbursement of the costs of its production and the effective functioning of power plants that produce and sell electrical energy.
The main factors for the growth of costs for the production of electrical energy are:
1) rising prices for fuel and its transportation;
2) rising prices for materials (electrical, high-voltage, low-voltage, starting equipment, spare parts);
3) high level of wear and tear of capital equipment – 78.7%;
4) increase in repair costs;
5) an increase in tariffs for the provision of services for technical dispatch, for organizing balancing of production and consumption of electrical energy;
6) increase in labor costs for employees of AlES JSC to attract highly qualified (highly paid) specialists and prevent personnel drain.
– The geopolitical situation in the world, inflation, rising prices for fuel (gas, coal, fuel oil), their transportation, raw materials and materials have led to the fact that energy producing organizations do not have enough funds to carry out major repairs, build ash dumps and carry out reconstruction, modernization, expansion and renewal of fixed assets – said Asel Arginbaeva, Managing Director for Economics and Finance of AlES JSC.
There is an urgent need to increase the level of the maximum tariff for electrical energy for 2023.
