Protecting the future starts today

Representatives of the youth organization of AlES JSC took part in the action “Almaty – a city without HIV” at the AIDS Prevention and Control Center. Young people learned more about HIV prevention, healthy lifestyle priorities, and the benefits of mandatory social health insurance.

Reference:In July 2017, the Mayor’s Office of Almaty signed the Paris Declaration calling for stopping the AIDS epidemic. Almaty became the first city in Central Asia to join the global movement. Today, the city is intensifying preventive work on HIV infection, and various measures are being taken to increase the literacy of the population about measures to protect their health and a responsible attitude to it.
