OPI ZKS industrial chemistry

OPI ZKS industrial chemistry

Almaty Electric Power Stations JSC (hereinafter referred to as the Company) is considering the possibility of implementing the following initiatives within the framework of the procurement category strategy (hereinafter referred to as the ZKS) approved by the decision of the Management Board of Samruk-Energo JSC dated January 30, 2020 (Protocol No. 2)::

1. Changes to the TRU specification and nomenclature. Replacement of the IOMS-A1 salt deposition inhibitor.

Currently, the Company is working at CHPP-1,2 and ZTK in the preparation of open water heating network water intake operating on a schedule of 70/150 degrees.C The IOMS-A1 salt deposition inhibitor produced by PJSC Khimprom (a subject of the Russian Federation) is used. In order to support domestic producers, it is proposed to consider the possibility of replacing the IOMS-A1 inhibitor produced in the Russian Federation with an analog produced in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2. Changes to the TRU specification and nomenclature. Replacement of the hydrazine – hydrate reagent.

Currently, the Company uses hydrazine hydrate at CHPP-2 for the correction treatment of feed and boiler water from BKZ power boilers-420-140-7C. This reagent belongs to harmful substances of the 1st hazard class (it is very dangerous for humans, animals, and the environment due to its destructive effect).

In order to improve the working conditions of the Company’s employees, the possibility of replacing hydrazine hydrate with an analog with a lower hazard class is being considered.

3. Changes in technological modes of operation and operation. Changes in the water-chemical regime of recycled water supply for CHPP-2 cooling towers.

As part of the development of ZKS, it was found that the Company’s equipment has a problem with the intensity of sediment formation on the sprinklers of cooling towers and steam turbine condensers.

The three initiatives mentioned above address the replacement of one reagent with another, the implementation of which requires both laboratory and pilot testing.

In this regard, the Company is considering the issue of participation of industrial chemical manufacturers in the analysis of HCR, according to the above-mentioned initiatives, in order to select the best reagents and technologies. Based on the results of the analysis, participants will need to prepare proposals (SCP) to start conducting an OPI.

At the same time, taking into account the changing epidemiological situation in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the period of conducting OPI may be postponed to 2021.

Based on the above, it is proposed that potential participants from among manufacturers of industrial chemicals and enterprises with experience in adjusting the VCR at energy facilities submit applications for participation in the above initiatives by October 30, 2020.

In addition, we note that the decision to start an OPI using modern analogues of reagents and technologies produced in the Republic of Kazakhstan will be made based on the results of comparing the data in the TKP provided by you to email addresses kancel@ales.kzmamirova@ales.kz (phone number for inquiries: 8-727-254-03-80).
