Opening of a new season at the Edelweiss children’s health camp for children of energy workers.

The long-awaited summer holidays have arrived for the children. On June 25, 2012, the Edelweiss children’s health camp for the children of energy workers opened its doors to children.
This year, 111 children came to the first shift. The rest will be carried out in three shifts. The 1st shift will be from June 25 to July 9, the 2nd shift will be from July 12 to 26, and the third shift will take place from July 30 to August 13, 2012.
Here come our adorable children. We form up and with a chant, groups of children, led by counselors, go to the ceremonial line. Among the guests invited to the grand opening of the camp were not only parents. All chairmen of trade union organizations of AlES JSC came to the opening ceremony. S. Zh. Turozhanov, Chairman of the NGO “Trade Union “Energy”, addressed the children and guests with a welcoming speech: “Today the first season of children’s recreation in our Edelweiss camp opens.” You are well prepared for this. You have been here for 4 days already. We managed to get to know each other. The camp staff put a lot of effort into making sure you were well-accommodated and well-fed. You have created good conditions for a complete and active holiday. Therefore, I want to wish you, first of all, that you all have a good rest, gain strength, and find new friends. Happy holiday, guys!”
The official part of the event ended with a gala concert, which was organized and prepared by the children themselves. The guys on stage sang, danced, played various musical instruments, and did all kinds of gymnastic exercises.
But the opening ceremony of the season was not over yet. In the evening, before lights out, the guys will sit in one huge circle, in the center of which a large “pioneer” fire will be lit, as it usually happened in pioneer times.
