JSC “Almaty Electric Stations” took first place in the category “best safe enterprise of the year”
ALMATY. April 28. KAZINFORM /Berik Bekmurzaev/ – At the International Conference and Exhibition on Occupational Health and Industrial Safety “KIOSH-2012”, held in Astana, Almaty Power Plants JSC took 1st place in the “Senim” competition.
This competition was held by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the International Center for Financial and Economic Development – Kazakhstan LLP in the category “Best Safe Enterprise of the Year”.
“A person is the basis of any team, and it is he who ensures the success of an enterprise. Therefore, the most important direction of the policy of Almaty Power Plants JSC in the field of labor protection is to ensure the priority of preserving the life and health of workers. To achieve these goals, 126.6 million tenge were allocated and spent on labor protection in 2011. In 2011, no production-related accidents or occupational diseases were registered at Almaty Power Stations JSC,” noted Nurlan Mukhamed-Rakhimov, Chairman of the Board of Almaty Power Stations JSC.
28-4-12-2 He stated that the main tasks for labor protection and safety of Almaty Power Plants JSC are to reduce the number of violations of labor protection and equipment rules, to prevent cases of injury, as well as to implement the plan for improving the qualifications of labor protection services personnel.
