INVESTMENTS IN RELIABILITY AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY (ADJUSTMENT OF THE INVESTMENT AGREEMENT OF ALES JSC WITH THE MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN FOR 2013)

According to the investment agreement No. 242 dated 08.11.12, concluded with the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan), the investment obligations of Almaty Electric Power Plants JSC (hereinafter AlES JSC) for 2013 are planned in the amount of KZT 8,094 million.
In June 2013, the Agreement on the Fulfillment of Investment Obligations was amended and supplemented due to changes in the composition and scope of work on reconstruction, construction, and modernization of the Company’s production facilities. The volume of investment obligations of AlES JSC to the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan has not changed.
