I became an accountant by vocation…

I love you, life… I walk home from work tired. I love you, life, and I want you to become better! Roza Turarovna Zhamansarina, head of the accounting department of B. Orazbayev CHPP-1, goes through life with this motto.

I come from the Aktobe region. Mom worked as the manager of a central warehouse. Every evening my mother brought a bunch of documents and magazines with her and worked in the evenings. I really liked how my parents managed their bills so easily. One day I asked my dad to teach me how to count using an abacus. I learned addition and subtraction immediately, but multiplication and division were difficult.

In the seventh grade, my mother gave me two journals, one was filled out and the other was empty, and asked: “Copy the remains from the last report into the empty journal.” I copied it, calculated it on the accounts and brought out the total amount. I was very happy when I saw familiar numbers in last month’s report. This is how my acquaintance with accounting began. In the ninth grade, helping my mother, I independently made reports on almost all warehouses, laying out receipts and expenses. By the end of school, the question of choosing a profession was resolved for me. I want to become an accountant.

After graduating from the ZAPKAZAKHI Institute, we were not given a diploma in our hands. It was necessary to work for three years according to the assignment. On February 22, 1984, I received the position of deputy chief accountant at the Tolybai state farm. The responsibility is great, combining theory with practice for three months, spent all evenings and weekends at work, studying each section. Three months later I was tested by the chief accountant and only then did he allow me to enter entries into the general ledger, which was very interesting.

Three years later, in March 1987, she quit her job and moved to Taldy-Kurgan. I immediately got a job as an accountant in the material department at the Taldy-Kurgan Electric Networks Enterprise. In August I was already deputy chief accountant. While working in this position, I often came to POEE Almatyenergo with reports. My efforts, knowledge of the contents of the reports, answers to the questions posed, were appreciated by the deputy chief accountant of POEE “Almatyenergo” E.I. Sosnitskaya. When I got married and moved to Almaty, Ekaterina Ivanovna offered me a job at CHPP-1. This is how I have been working at my favorite station since December 15, 1988, for 33 years.

I have only three entries in my work book, including Alma-Ata CHPP-1. The choice turned out to be, one might say, deliberate. At CHPP-1 in December 1988, I was hired as an accountant and in November 1989, Tatyana Alekseevna Rodicheva offered me the position of deputy chief accountant, despite the fact that I was then on maternity leave. Now, with the passage of time, I understand that my recognition as a specialist, my place in life, was determined in November 1989.

At the beginning of my working career, due to my youth and ambition, I didn’t think that I would stay here until my retirement. But, fortunately for me, it turned out to be what it is.

CHPP-1 is a second home for me, as for other employees. This is, first of all, a close-knit team, people who respect each other, with a sense of responsibility and mutual understanding, where any issues can be resolved: both industrial and everyday. At the head of this team is a respected, competent, knowledgeable and loving leader – Managing Director Syrgabaev Isakhan Aktanovich.

With great gratitude I would like to mention Ekaterina Ivanovna Sostsitskaya, Tatyana Alekseevna Rodicheva, Antonina Petrovna Luzan. They are my first mentors at the energy company, thanks to them I easily learned all the nuances of our profession.

Today, when I come to work, I am primarily interested in the health and mood of the employees, including the accounting department under my direct subordination. Then I determine the priority tasks of the current working day and provide management with the necessary accounting information. I organize work on setting up and maintaining accounting records for the enterprise.

What I like most about my profession is the end result, when at the end of the reporting period, debit turnover and credit turnover give a balance.

The most interesting thing for me was the implementation in 2012 of the AIS “1C: Enterprise 8. Manufacturing Enterprise Management for Kazakhstan” and in 2013 the implementation of the “Purchasing Management” and “Inventory Management” subsystem.

I have never had a desire to radically change my life. My life suited me as it was, with all its joys and hardships. The intermediate result is stability, respect, understanding and recognition. I never stopped improving my skills. Constantly studied all changes in standards and legislation.

My mother once gave me the best, most valuable advice. My parents came to visit us in Almaty and when they left at the airport, my mother read me poems by M. Makataev:

Life is up and down.
Life makes you laugh and cry.
When your skirt is full and moaning,
Kaita will comfort you.
Don’t give up hope, don’t despair,
life will fall and bloom.
Don’t be swayed by the blowing wind.
Life likes patience.

Colleagues speak of Rosa Turarovna as a careful, responsible worker who will always find a creative approach to solving any problems. She is meticulous in her work and is sociable. Her values in life are kindness, decency, justice, a sense of duty and loyalty to her chosen profession.
