Helping is right, easy, enjoyable, rewarding case

JSC “AlES” Groups employees representing production departments of the company took part in the ІІ Forum of Corporate Charity.

It was organized by the Corporate Fund “Samruk-Kazyna Trust” to create an effective platform for dialogue, exchange of experience, explanation of support tools, presentation of successful cases, search for solutions to the most important issues in the field of charity development between representatives of the authorities, corporate sector and civil society. The forum also included a presentation of the results of charitable activities of the “Samruk-Kazyna Trust””Groups.

It was attended by more than 300 delegates – representatives of authorised and local executive bodies, public figures, heads of NGOs and charitable organisations, leading Kazakhstani and international experts, heads of the Fund’s portfolio companies, media representatives.

The delegates discussed such topical issues of charity as civil society proposals for improving legislation in this area, corporate and social responsibility, national and international experience. The discussions also included an exchange of views and experience, and masterclasses on promoting social projects.

– The second corporate forum “Samruk Kazyna Trust” is a wonderful event that allows us to unite our efforts in the direction of charity and social responsibility, – says Dina Abdimazhit, a process engineer of the Adjustment and Environmental Protection Shop of CHPP-1 n.a. B. Orazbayev – We had an opportunity to discuss key issues and find ways of joint actions to solve urgent problems. I was impressed by the level of organization and the ambitiousness of the goals set. I hope that this event will become a landmark step in supporting those in need and in developing public welfare. During the discussion, new ideas emerged that contribute to solving social problems facing Kazakhstan. We discussed such important issues as education development, social protection, child support, healthcare and others. Each topic was considered in the context of modern challenges and needs of society. I am confident that participation in such events contributes to the creation of a more just and sustainable society, where every citizen has the opportunity for a decent life and development.

– Every minute was imbued with meaning and useful information, said Miras Madikassymov, a 5th grade electrician for relay protection and automation equipment repair at the Electrical Engineering Shop of the Western Heat Complex. – It is good that the society understands that it is necessary to do charity and as much as possible to help all those people who need help. And how important it is to do it competently.

Many delegates, including Nurlan Zhakhan, a 4th grade electrician for repair of relay protection and automation equipment at the electrical laboratory of CHPP-3, emphasized the experience gained during the forum.

– I am very glad that I met wonderful people here and learnt a lot of information, says Nurlan. – The topics of the speeches were very relevant. May the work of the charity forum be successful and fruitful.

Aizada Tleukhan, an economist with the repair service at CHPP-1 n.a. Orazbayev continued: “I learnt a lot at the forum. A phrase that I have heard before came to mind, it says: “Helping – right, simple, pleasant, useful!”. Indeed, I saw that the participants present in the hall were not indifferent to the fate of our country and our people. I was also pleasantly surprised by the scale of work done by Samruk-Kazyna Trust – one of the largest donors in the field of charity in Kazakhstan, which implements projects in all regions of the country on behalf of the Samruk-Kazyna Groups.

Dilnaz Kөbegen, electrician for repair of electrical equipment of power plants Kapshagay HPP n.a. Sh.Chokin, also made her judgement that charity should be competent and effective.

“Striving to help people who are less fortunate, to spend their time and money on them – this is both a cause and a life guideline, and valuable experience of my colleagues and like-minded friends, – she said. – Charity is a great opportunity to make your life better: doing good deeds, helping others means giving yourself positive moments, spending time with nice people, and most importantly, changing the world around you for the better!

And concludes with a message to everyone: “Be kinder!”
