Green landing party

On October 7, 2017, the campaign “Aru Almatyga-1001 tup zhasyl zhelek”was held on the occasion of the 1001st anniversary of Almaty. 1001 trees were planted in all districts of the city. The organizer of the campaign is the Nur Otan Party. Activists of the youth organization “Zharkyn Bolashak”took part in the action.

“We planted 20 saplings along Zhandosov Street, in front of the Almaty Academy of Economics and Statistics. For our active participation, we were awarded two tickets to the play “The Eldest Son” at the State Academic Russian Theater named after M. Lermontov, ” said Fariza Botakarayeva, chairman of the Zharkyn Bolashak MO.

In 2017, 11,200 seedlings were planted, 1,300 of them coniferous and 9900 deciduous. In the autumn period, it is planned to plant seedlings in the amount of 16 thousand deciduous and coniferous trees. Flowers were also planted on 1,270 flowery lawns, 4212 vertical landscaping elements were installed to adorn the dividing lanes of highways, open green areas of transport interchanges and other parts of the city. Lawns with a total area of 11 thousand square meters were planted.
