Energy in action: team building “the life of one battery” in the chemical workshop of CHPP-2 named after. A. Zhakutova
At the end of November, an original and unusual event took place in the station’s chemical shop: team building dedicated to the theme “The Life of One Battery.” The entire workshop staff took part in it, and five teams were formed. Their task is to collect used batteries and prepare material about the dangers of batteries on human health and the environment, as well as to protect their work. As a result, through joint efforts, 12 kg of batteries were collected, which were handed over to the station’s environmentalists.
To implement their project, the “Daytime Staff” team made wooden boxes for collecting batteries, and they were artistically designed by Anastasia Tsyva.
– We installed the “Save the Planet – Get Candy” box in the canteen of our department. Each employee had the opportunity to receive candy in exchange for a used battery. This is not only convenient, but also motivated workers to take an active part in collecting batteries. We believe that it will be necessary to install such boxes in all departments. And, if everyone responds to this project, we will be able to preserve our nature, our Motherland,” shared Asel Yusupova, chemical water treatment operator, captain of the “Daytime Staff” team.
Galia Biturin, an operator for the preparation of chemical reagents, the leader of the “Vakhta B” team, discovered a lot of new information about batteries. She suggested better informing society about the dangers of used batteries through the media and installing special battery collection boxes near stores.
– We were most interested in the topic of the dangers of used batteries when they get into soil, water and their proper disposal. While we were collecting batteries, we realized that our loved ones, relatives and friends also don’t know about this,” continued Galia Biturin.
The results of the team building were summed up by the jury members: Natalya Mogilevets, head of the logistics department, Maksat Tusupov, deputy head of the Central Research and Development Center, and Venera Musaeva, economist. They noted the high level of training of the teams, the serious and professional approach of each of them.
Asel Shikobaeva, operator for the preparation of chemical reagents, captain of the “Vakhta G” team, emphasized that holding such events in the chemical workshop makes the team very happy, everyone is actively involved in the process. As a result of the event, “Vakhta G” won first place in the competition. And in the canteen and cafeteria of the station, boxes for collecting batteries will now be installed on a permanent basis.
Team building on the theme “The Life of One Battery” not only contributed to the unification of the team, but also made an important contribution to education about the need to respect nature.
