Employees of PRP “Energoremont” JSC “AlES” thanked 12 veterans for the peaceful sky

On the 75th anniversary of the Victory, activists of the youth organization “Zharkyn Bolashak” of AlES JSC congratulated 6 participants of the labor front and 6 soldiers – Afghans equal to war participants.
This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, all festive events have been cancelled. Therefore, veterans, former employees of PRP Energoremont, were congratulated at home.
– Every year, according to tradition, veterans are thanked for peace. Unfortunately, the only veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a former employee of the enterprise, Mikhail Nikolaevich Kurganov, died last year at the age of 95. The widow of a veteran, Natalya Fedorovna Kurganova, turns to us for help. We help her whenever possible, we repaired her roof, balcony and installed a new electric meter,” said Syrymbet Turozhanov, chairman of the Local Trade Union “Trade Union Energy” of the PRP “Energoremont”.

 

Congratulating the veterans, Ibragim Suanbekov, foreman of the turbine section of TsREO-1 PRP “Energoremont”, activist of the youth organization “Zharkyn Bolashak” of AlES JSC noted that “Despite their age, our veterans look good. I was surprised how our grandfathers, over the age of 90, look at life with optimism. It is rightly noted: “The soul never grows old.” We warned about our visit in advance. They were waiting for us impatiently. They tell how difficult it was for them in those years… Veterans do not care about flowers, food, or even money.

 

Above all, they value attention. They thanked us from the bottom of their hearts and wished us good luck and success.”
– Giving joy is a pleasure! We often visit and help people in need. I like being a volunteer. From the first days I joined the youth organization “Zharkyn Bolashak” we have been involved in charity work. My father always says to me: “Balam, bata – halyk kazynasy. “Zhanbyrmenen zher kogerer, batamenen ate kogerer.” Which means “The blessing of elders is the best reward.” My Dad is the head of the Suanbekov dynasty at our enterprise.

We are in a hurry to please them and give them a festive mood. We saw sparks of gratitude in their eyes. So many warm words… Thank you to our veterans, for our peace, for this sun, for the clear sky, for a happy life.

“We used to invite veterans to the enterprise and set a festive table. I went for groceries, cooked hot manti, kazy, bauyrsak, samsa, salads… The veterans were always happy. They were looking forward to this day. They thanked us and joked. But for the second year now, Vladimir Grigorievich Mamonov has been eagerly waiting for us at home. Grandfather is 91 years old. He lives alone, prepares his own meals, washes the dishes, and cleans the house. Grandchildren visit whenever possible. Relatives from Taldykorgan come once a month. For the second month now they have not visited their grandfather. Quarantine. Grandfather, with his pension, first of all buys his grandchildren our favorite domestic chocolate “Kazakhstan” from the Rakhat confectionery factory. He treats us to it too. We were very happy to receive a present from grandfather’s hands. He not only treats, but gives from the heart, with love. And at this moment I remember my beloved grandfather with tears in my eyes, who passed away at the age of 94,” said Fariza Botakaraeva, leading software engineer of the Energoremont PRP, Chairman of the Zharkyn Bolashak youth organization of AlES JSC.
