ALMATY ELECTRIC POWER PLANTS JSC: INVESTMENTS – THE WAY TO PRODUCTION DEVELOPMENT (EXECUTION OF THE INVESTMENT AGREEMENT OF ALES JSC WITH THE MINISTRY OF ENERGY OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN IN 2012)
In accordance with the investment agreement No. 281 dated 28.12.12 with the Ministry of Industry and new technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the investment obligations of Almaty power plants JSC for 2012 amounted to 8,264. 6 million rubles.planned, actual implementation in the amount of KZT 8,332.4 million. tenge (100.8%).
As part of the investment agreement, the following main activities were implemented:
* aimed at increasing production volumes, including:
-Reconstruction and commissioning of the cooling tower at CHPP-3, which made it possible to bridge the gap between the available and installed capacity of CHPP-3.
-The project development of the approved part of the design and estimate documentation” reconstruction and expansion of Almaty CHPP-2 ” has been completed. Turn III. No. 8 St. boiler unit”. The implementation of the project will increase the available electric capacity of the station by 50 MW, the transmitted heat capacity by 250 Gcal/H (for heat transfer to the consumption zone of CHPP-1), while the additional annual production of electricity will be 400 million tons.more than kWh.
-Construction and installation works are being carried out to clean the channel in the lower Biff of the kapshagai hydroelectric power station, after which the support is reduced and the station can operate in the maximum mode with a consumption of up to 1,300 m3/sec. At the same time, additional electricity production averages 16 million tons per year. increases by kWh.
-Development of design and estimate documentation”Reconstruction and expansion of Almaty CHPP-1 with gas conversion and installation of GTU” has begun. During the implementation of the project, the environmental impact of the station on the ecological state of the city will be reduced due to the complete replacement of CHPP-1 for burning natural gas. Electricity generation is 444 million. kWh and heat generation will amount to 724 thousand Gcal;
* to reduce production costs, including: the project of using groundwater of the Almaty field for industrial and technical water supply at CHPP-1 and CHPP-2; installation of water metering devices on the main pipelines of the HPP cascade; expansion of industrial water intake at CHPP-3 by drilling new artesian wells;
* to support the production level, including: reconstruction of the dust preparation system of CHPP-1; reconstruction of steam pipelines of boilers and turbines and the connecting steam collector of Section CHPP-3 No. 1,2,3; installation of magnetic water level indicators in the drums of boiler units and High-Pressure Heaters of turbines CHPP-1, CHPP-2, CHPP-3; major repairs reconstruction of the oil pressure unit of the hydraulic unit control system at the Kapshagai HPP; reconstruction of the gas distribution point of CHPP-1 reconstruction; reconstruction of the equipment of the open switchgear (Oru-220 kV) of the kapshagai HPP, CHPP-3;
* to maintain the current level of fixed assets, including: replacement of the ash trap unit at CHPP-1; overhaul of hydrozolation with replacement of pipes at CHPP-1; overhaul of the turbocharger and condenser at CHPP-3; replacement of heating surfaces of boiler units at CHPP-1, CHPP-2 and CHPP-3; repair of the car transducer at CHPP-2 and CHPP-3
* environmental measures, including: reduction of sulfur dioxide emissions at the wet stage of ash-holding units of boiler units CHPP-1, CHPP-2 and CHPP-3; construction of two emulsifiers at CHPP-2 and one at CHPP-3; installation of a site for temporary storage of solid waste at CHPP-1; modernization of combustible devices of boiler units CHPP-1 and CHPP-3; reconstruction of aspiration units;
* Measures to protect the facilities of CHPP-1, CHPP-2, CHPP-3, CHPP “Energy repair”, Kapshagai HPP.
Impressions from the events held:
– the installed power utilization rate was 48.8% compared to the forecast of 48.6 %;
-Due to the reconstruction of the CHPP-3 cooling tower by 27 MW, the gap between the established and available power has decreased;
-The adverse environmental impact of energy sources of JSC ales decreased due to the commissioning of 2 emulsifiers at CHPP-2 and one at CHPP-3. The reduction in ash emissions at 3 boiler units amounted to 5,270 tons per year;
– the number of emergency stops of equipment has been reduced by 45% due to the timely maintenance of the repair company.
The activities included in the investment program of JSC” ales ” are aimed at maintaining the current level of production of energy sources, reconstruction and Technical re-equipment of existing assets, implementation of environmental measures, implementation of energy saving measures.
