AlES: the plan has been overfulfilled

Based on the results of the past year Almaty power engineers have achieved good production indicators, by working in fact above the planned marks.

Thus, the total electricity production of AlES JSC amounted to 5,195.9 mln kWh. This is 356.4 million kWh over the planned, or – 107.4% above the planned level.

The best performance this year demonstrates Kapshagayskaya HPP named after Sh.Chokin. The station exceeded the annual plan by 66%. Recall, as early as December 11, 2024 at 14:00 in AlES JSC recorded the implementation of the annual plan by the energy complex. In this case, Kapshagayskaya HPP named after Sh. Chokin on that date produced 1.23 billion kWh, which was above the plan by 59%. In general, the share of this plant, producing “green” energy, amounted to 25% of the total electricity production of AlES JSC.

The CHPP-1 named after B.Orazbayev, which celebrates its 90th anniversary this year, made its significant contribution to electricity production. The plant exceeded its plan by 9%. Another oldest asset of JSC “AlES” – Cascade HPP overfulfilled the annual plan by 12%. That is, two “veterans” of Kazakhstani energy sector demonstrate good production indicators. It is also worth mentioning that two advanced production assets of AlES – Sh.Chokin Kapshagayskaya HPP and Cascade HPP meet the modern criteria of environmental friendliness, supplying green energy to Almaty residents.

AlES JSC’s heat specialists also exceeded the plan. With the plan of 5,554.2 thousand Gcal in accordance with the dispatching task of Almaty Heat Networks LLP, they supplied 5,776.0 thousand Gcal of heat energy to consumers. The annual level of supply was fixed at 104%. The most significant contribution to this indicator was expectedly shown by CHPP-2, with an indicator of 3.4 million Gcal. In general, all stations of Almaty energy complex worked with overfulfillment of the heat plan in 2024.
