AlES: green wave

200 seedlings were planted at the Almaty CHPP-2 named after. A. Zhakutova

November 11, 2022 on the territory of CHPP-2 named after. A. Zhakutov held a tree planting campaign. 50 company employees took part in it.

– The main goals of this event are to increase green spaces and reduce the burden on the city’s environment. Trees are an excellent absorber of harmful emissions. Every planted tree is a contribution to environmental well-being, and therefore to our common future,” shared Fazoil Salimov, director of CHPP-2 named after. A. Zhakutova.

The weather was favorable to the participants of the action. They worked side by side, sharing all responsibilities equally. For example, one prepared a place for planting, another planted a seedling, the third brought water and watered the tree. The good weather put everyone in a positive mood, so the company employees worked together with shovels and watering cans in the best mood.

“We have always paid special attention to planting trees, and in a short period of time we planted 50 birches, 50 poplars and 100 squat elms, or as the common people call elm,” said Managing Director for Production – Chief Engineer Gaziy Ismukhambetov.

As the company employees note, participating in such events is a pleasure.

– In the daily bustle, we don’t even realize how little it takes to benefit others, just plant a tree. And in the spring the whole garden will turn green, which will forever remain a memory of our concern for the environment. This is not the first action of this kind at the station, and we hope not the last,” noted Oryspaev Amangeldy, an employee of the fuel oil shop at CHPP-2.

Let us remind you that in March of this year, 1000 paulownias were planted at the ash dump of CHPP-2 named after A. Zhakutov. The environmental project took place as part of the implementation of the state program of low-carbon development and the adoption of a course towards “green” development.

– The wise Kazakh people have the following proverbs: “Children grow what is planted by their parents,” “Trees grow in one place,” “Everyone admires a wonderful tree.” We hope that such good events will be held in the future,” continued Serik Kaliev, director of CHPP-3.

“Green Wave” helps company employees realize their ideas for landscaping and beautification of the station.
