ALES: energy saving and energy efficiency improvement

On November 11, the world celebrates International Energy Saving Day. The main goal of the events is to attract public attention to the rational use of energy resources.

On this day, the fourth International Forum on Energy Saving was held in Astana, where current issues in the field of energy saving and increasing energy efficiency were discussed. Representatives of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the German energy agency Dena, the UN Development Program in Kazakhstan and other experts in the field of energy saving spoke at the forum. Kainarbek Kerimkulov, head of the technical department, took part on behalf of AlES JSC.

A video conference was held at Samruk-Energy JSC with the participation of the Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Energy JSC S.S. Tyutebaev, dedicated to the International Energy Saving Day. The chief specialist of the Technical Department, Seydigaliev Ilyas, was awarded the diploma of the Kazakhstan Trade Union of Power Engineers.

“In 2021, AlES JSC carried out 26 measures to save energy and improve energy efficiency,” said Kainarbek Kerimkulov. – The effect of the implemented measures amounted to 554 million tenge.

Ilyas Seydigaliev noted that in 2021, 20 rationalization proposals were approved at AlES JSC, 12 of which were implemented. The effect of the implemented proposals amounted to 81 million tenge. For example, at CHPP-2 named after. A. Zhakutov, the following proposals were implemented – sealing the LPC receiver bypass pipes on turbine units, changing the BNT-4 condensate supply circuit to the main condensate line and digitalizing the collection of accounting data.
