Ales: a good deed

In early November 2019, according to tradition, activists of the Zharkyn Bolashak youth organization visited a large family. This family lives in the Auezovsky district of Almaty. The late Rustemov Nurtas Otepbergenovich (05.01.1976-01.02.2014) was survived by his wife and five children.

– We often visit large and low-income families. Often, such help is resorted to by families who have fallen into trouble and are going through difficult times. No one is immune from illness or death. As a specialist in occupational health and safety, I constantly tell both colleagues and acquaintances that the most important thing is the safety of human life. Unfortunately, many drivers who do not follow the rules of the road often exceed the speed limit, which leads to tragic accidents.I believe that every driver should be responsible not only for his own life, but also for another one, “said Chingiz Rakhatov, an activist of the Zharkyn Bolashak youth organization of AlES JSC, Senior Inspector for Labor Protection and Safety of the TST Department.

My husband Rustemov Nurtas Otepbergenovich was killed in a car accident. He was 38 years old. Too early, gone from an early age. I was invited home from work and got into an accident on the way.I was left with five children, two of whom were very young twins. Not knowing what I would do? It was psychologically difficult for me. And I’m young. Five small children. There is also fear. Can I support my children? My husband and I lived well. I wasn’t working. When we got married, I didn’t worry about my husband telling me that I was taking care of us myself. I was always busy with children and household chores. I’ve never asked anyone for help. My parents are retired, and even then they try to help out as much as they can sometimes. The main thing is that instead of material assistance, spiritual support should be allocated. My children and parents relied on me to survive difficult times. They were always there for me. My children are my future, the meaning of my life. Life goes on, despite my grief…”, – said Zhuldyzai Rustemova.

Zhuldyz’s eldest son, Janan, is currently studying at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the 4th year as a financier. She’s enrolled on a grant, is doing well in school, and works during the holidays. Trying to help her mother.Now he is the mainstay of the family. He feels responsible to his sister and brother. Daughter Aruzhan, a 2nd-year student of the Kazakh-Russian Medical University.Unfortunately, he only had one grant point missing. The family pays 700,000 thousand tenge per year for training. The third daughter, Janelle, is in the 4th grade.
