AI-project of videosurveillance system is presented in AlES JSC

During his visit to AlES JSC, Nurlan Zhakupov was presented with the work of an AI project – an intelligent video surveillance panel for industrial safety.

The system monitors compliance with safety and labour protection regulations at facilities in real time: it detects the absence of helmets, the presence of workers in hazardous areas, suspicious objects, as well as signs of emergency situations (smoke, fire, steam).

More than 1,500 cameras have already been installed at the company’s facilities, with plans to add another 400. The system has proven its effectiveness, detecting over 100 violations in its first few months of operation.

The solution is a proactive tool for reducing injuries and preventing accidents. Further development of the project is planned for 2026: warning and communication systems, as well as video recorders on transport.
